Well yeah for entertainment purposes. But historically speaking before theater and stage and whatever got involved, being a magician basically meant you were a scam artist, and alot of portrayals of magic on sitcoms and stuff of tv are usually cheesy or for something childish or comedic relief. I just think magicians just naturally ended up with a bad rep and thats kind of sad.

This is the best ever 💖 Coming home from hospital my daughter who loves your channel went through the roof when she just saw that you did this and wanted to go to you.. but she didn't realized, because of the operation stuff she had and is in between sleeping and healing, you are not over here but she really really wanted her jacket and go to the store you were.. She wanted to go! I had to laugh so hard and loved her reaction just as much as it did hurt me to tell her that she first needed to get better.. I didn't bother to tell her that you don't even live remotely close, she just is too out of it.. But what you did this is truly fantastic and shows how generous you are... I sooo loved the reaction you gave my little girl, even just 1 day after beeing home with her after her operation.. But you make sure your family and you are safe for life, don't blow it for views although that is your income.. hmm.. Well, just be cautious and know that you have a little big fan out there that wanted to see you first after her operation 😊😎💖🤗 And thank you so much for your generosity! 👌😃

There's this magic shop in Singapore called Magic Castle Singapore (No relation to the Magic Castle in California). They have been providing magic lovers with tricks and props since 1995 and they are still open to this day. The service is great, they regularly stock every 3 days, they deliver fast (within a week!) and I still shop there to this day. Maybe you could give it a try if you are able to magiccastle-com-sg.3dcartstores.com/

I'm so glad this wasn't a super cringy thing, made just to flaunt how much money he has, and so that people would say how amazing and wonderful he is for doing it. Honestly, being Chris, I kinda knew it wouldn't be like that lol and you can just tell he's actually doing it for the right reasons. So many people make videos like this, but they make such a huge show about it, and instead of focusing on the people they're doing it for, they just revel in the compliments and all the 'omg you're such a wonderful person for doing this!' So it's such a relief to see this! Kinda reminds me of a time I was at a Walmart with my son, who was 4 at the time. He was very well behaved the whole time, and had 2 little toys picked out. But after ringing up all the groceries, I only had enough to get one of the toys. So I had him pick which one he wanted, and promised to get him the other one next time. He was really good about it again (he's abit spoiled, but he's usually very well mannered in public) So I paid and we left, as we got to the door, i heard someone yelling, so i turned around and the cashier called me back over. An elderly couple who was behind us in line had bought the second toy for him. It was just a super sweet moment. They said their grandkids were all grown and moved away, and I could just tell how happy it made them to make a little guy happy like that. And my son was super excited about it, and asked me if he could hug them. Super long and irrelevant story lol

While i appreciate what your trying to do, you lost me when you just went out into the street to try to force magic on normal folks just so you could fill time for your content. Im not a magician, but i feel like you could probably be more impactful by maybe having a contest to invite a couple of struggling magicians down for a shopping spree/ magic makeover "chris's eye for the noob guy". Get them fitted out in some 1st gear and get them loaded up with some dope magic.

Okay go make a KZread channel and do it. You say he is Forcing magic on people to fill his content like its a problem. For one he wasn't forcing anything he was offering to buy them magic outside cause the store was dead ! people are garbage that's what I got out of that part of the video and the comment section . And what's wrong with trying to get content ?! People hate on the dumbest shit. I just can't stand people . I'm not even some big fan of Chris , just started watching him. Just tired of people

Amazingly awesome. You are the best Chris. You are truly an inspiration and a good decent giving generous human being that brings joy and happiness to those that know you on any level. Doesn’t matter if it’s a $100 or $10,000, it’s the gesture and the idea in itself and how making a kid’s day awesome matters. Love you man.

Man, it is really heartwarming to see you actually outside in the cold advertising the shop and extending your generosity to reach people who would have walked by without entering the shop that day or maybe ever. You truly are passionate about your work and that's very inspiring. It makes it so the only way I would regret buying the Hanayama puzzles I did is if I never figure out how to solve them lol. No slamming, smacking, or forcing. I might try spinning though lol.

I'm just now getting to watch this because I was at work all day on a grueling 14 hr shift but I'm so glad I took the time to watch this video. I'm not going to lie I almost didn't because I'm so exhausted and just wanted to go to bed but this just made my day. Pretty sure my comment is too late for Chris to see it but I wanted to say I love everything you do and things like this need to happen more. You are helping out so many people with you generosity. I didnt even win or get anything myself but this video alone just made my day. I will be thinking about this one for a while I know and I can't wait for something like this to happen again. Maybe next time it will happen somewhere closer to me so I can come visit you. Lol a man can dream. Haha that sounded creepy I'm done now. Thank you chris and much love man. Keep up the awesome work and spreading magic around the world!

If i could get to Canada I'd for sure check that shop out and get at least one deck of 1st playing cards. Ive been trying to find a deck but they are expensive on ebay. Maybe one day I'll get up north and check that shop out. You're a great person Chris. I love seeing people help their local community and small buisnesses. Much respect man. Hope you have a great thanksgiving.

More and more I enjoy each of your videos which just get better and better. You have a tremendously generous and good heart. I can only hope that at some time in your life, that good people in your life, join together and do for you what you have done for this store owner and the magic community at large. I have recently subscribed to a lot of very talented KZread magicians but none of them have your wonderful personality or demonstrate your dedication to the magic community in quite the same way as you. You are by far my favorite KZreadr and channel that I go to first every day as I am playing catch up to your many years of videos here that I missed due to not knowing about you till recently. Your definitely the kind of guy I would choose as a friend to hang out with and talk shop about magic and cardistry. I was lucky enough to find your 1st edition, and 3rd edition 1st cards on ebay yesterday and can't wait to get them in my hands so they can go right next to my new Knights deck and my favorite Cardistry deck, the Memento Mori's that you helped create. I can't believe I had only 1 deck of unopened standard Bicycle cards two weeks ago and now I have over 80 decks carefully chosen from all the card companies that you show off in your card collection videos. I will be picking up both versions of your V4's from your shop in the next week or so. Thanks for bringing some light into this world during a time when it is needed most .

Great stuff Chris. These are the content we (your hardcore fans since you had less than 50k subs) need from you. Puzzles are cute and true that they generate lot of viewership but we stuck with you this whole time for your magic Chris. So please give us more magic related content. Some street magic performances may be. You "Street magic at a fare" is my most favourite street magic video on KZread still. Cheers!
