You mention the point on the pagoda. From what research I did some of the ones with the pointed pagoda and lines either side of KEW did enter circulation. The best indication of a genuine one is the obverse side. No fake has managed to faithfully recreate the portrait that I have seen. I have one of these versions and I spent ages going over it and all the details for the portrait were spot on. I did spend a bit of time panicing thinking it was fake but found a useful site with pictures of all the fake versions to compare to.

I just paid 250 for a 2009 and 2019 kew both very good condition. Was thinking if I wait hopefully get my 250 back for the 2009 and have the 2019 for my collection. Hopefully lol

my advice is to hang on to both for another year to 18 months then check the prices again, the 2019 are ridiculous now 😋👍🏻

@Coins 2 Collect I know only started collecting maybe 3 months ago nearly fell off my chair at the prices of some coins. Just waiting on a triathlon to come through post then I have 1 of all circulated. Starting again now lol

I need the cash! I've got a habit of spending what I don't have 🤣 and ive bought a few new tools for my woodworking hobby, so needs must 😋👍🏻

I mean it's up to you but my conscience wouldn't allow me to keep a coin for myself that multiple people chipped in for, as a prize. I'm sure no one will hold it against you but maybe you should have kept that info to yourself lol. All the best mate.
