Great first boat! My first was a Lowe 170 with a 70hp. Great boats. My suggestions: if you are going to run skinny waters keep the aluminum prop. Easier to replace a aluminum prop than run a stainless and tear up your entire lower unit. i speak from experience here. you are not quite ready for true big water yet, you are ready for big bass water though. My Crestliner Sportfish is a true big water boat. Deep V aluminum.

Had a 13.5 foot Herters Hudson Bay fiberglass duck boat. Tiny and low to the water. On the outside it looked like a widowmaker. Once you got in and tried tipping it over your eyes get big and you smiled. Was a trusty craft so I named it MINNOW 2.

You have the coolest looking boat of the Googans. Hopefully the next one will be green. It was smart getting an aluminum boat because you can fix it easily. I picked up my new 2020 Tracker 175 TXW Tournament Edition right at the start of the pandemic.. called around and had trouble finding one, so was going to drive 6 hours to get the one I wanted.. waited 2 days and was able to source one locally... I love the boat, but my kayak (Native Titan 13.5) has been sitting idle since.. these new aluminum boats ROCK!!
