I knew it. Are the brown people mostly in the NE or did they spill all over the city?
Another con is air polution is greater than other parts of the city. In fact just about every major city in North America has their "more desirable" locations on the west side of town for this very reason.
Finally, a video from your channel regarding North East.
Your first Video about NE. would love to watch more detailed videos about each neighborhood
I lived in Calgary but not on East side. However the S.E. would not be my choice. That could change in the future, as Calgary is growing fast. It's the cold that is very hard to deal with. However Edmonton is so cold just thinking about that city makes me shiver On the more positive side it's cheaper to live in Alberta than any other provinces. .B.C. is beautiful however if you want to suffer financially then move to B.C. . NE are more multicultural and family oriented.
I would never live in North East i just feel like living out in Canada .
NE is not bad..... it could be better but not bad.

I don't understand what happened to the word, “ethnic”, with respect to food. Pizza or fish & chips is “ethnic food”, too. All food has an ethnic origin!
Can you do ne Calgary best and worst please

This is an opinion driven by numbers in your book. In fact access to NE is fast and simple and better than lower SW or SE. Houses are smaller, but the lots are bigger leaving place for gardens. A lot of bungalows more than anyware else in the city. A lot of malls, stores and markets close by and easy to get to. Unlike other quadrants where one have to drive 15 min to get a jug a milk. Houses are affordable and area is great for raising a familly. Lot of schools are in a walking distance. Crime rate is higher because here are a large number of homeless fox . Also the City is not doing much to solve the problem because they keep them away from the "fancy" communities and easy to survey. Here people actually give to less fortunate. I live in Rundle for 25 years and I do not regret it a bit.

I agree with everything except 2 things, the boxes and lots are both small, and it’s terrible for raising families
Grew up in abbeydale. The sad thing is, the "Prairie City" is truly the NE, lots of pretty, wide open grassy areas. Prairie winds park is my fave park ever, to this day. Great mountain views. That said, it is a nexus of blue collar life, so more latchkey kids, and more diversity, which, at least in my experience, meant fractionalized social groups and gangs. It was scary growing up. I think fondly on my childhood, but not a chance would I raise kids there. Hopefully we address our social problems moving forward, so different groups don't need to resort to crime to survive. Note: before I get pegged as being racist, all I mean is, blue collar and recent immigrant families face obstacles: Long work hours, less money, lower tax bracket means schools suffer, and kids may gravitate towards the romantic notion of being from "the ghetto". There are tons of hard working, decent calgarians of all stripes in the NE, the social issues just need addressing

I live in the NE of Calgary, it’s really not a bad place to live at all, BUT one thing is very very disappointing and that’s garbage I mean physical garbage and trash kinda all over the place from old mattresses and couches to junk and busted car parts, all these beautiful little ponds and trash all over the place, also the weather is kinda nuts and unstable
Good part of NE is cheap and around cheap food. LITERALLY everything else is bad, especially if you care about being in a nice or safe area. Avoid if you have the money!!
Those areas above Mcknight are disgusting, especially Saddletowne, Taradale

You got it a bit backwards, the areas BELOW mcknight are bad, everything above is much better, and it gets better the further up you go, saddle ridge and taradale arent too bad and are pretty good in some parts, and newer areas like skyview ranch and cornerstone are great
