Enjoyed hearing your thoughts process after watching the stream. Especially the A3 hand. Thanks, wishing you continued success.
So dope watching you climb the stakes!

Nice vlog. I like the heart u showed bluffing those couple hands, especially the 2nd one.

A3 feels pretty punty. Isolating villains range to better holdings otf and ott and having a really small fold equity otr with a jam. 6x and 8x is a better bluff than A3 by a margin.

Don’t ever post a comment but have to say, you’re the best poker vlogger on KZread by far. When it comes to thin value betting, nobody comes close. I wish I can change it for the cash. My QUESTION is: should I late registration the very last minute to try to get to the money by folding almost every thing but AA or KK is online. Or it will be better to start from first level. Thank you for the advice.

Hi Mariano, for the flop @6:38, you said that you think it makes sense to mostly bet small or check, but what about betting bigger to the tune of 70%~ of the pot instead? With such a wet flop, there'd be a variety of draws that would call you even at a bigger sizing, so why not extract as much value as possible?
@MarianoPoker
2 жыл бұрын
My uncle Pio said to bet small
Knowing who slopps actually is (Joseph Costello) I knew he wasn’t folding that hand for anything less than all in. Gotta go for it though
Important thing to remember, know your opponents, go read Sun Tzu's writings: *If you re-raise when no one else ever does pre-flop, with a large bet, get called and go 4-ways, and bet the first two streets, and jam the third, with a board that looks like KKQA3, and they call you with a 3, you're in for a long night if you try to bluff*

When I started playing poker, I had $840 and no idea what I was doing. I busted my "roll" 3 times in a month playing 3/5 $300 max at the Gardens, then realized how lost I was. I took a $600 loan from my best friend, began grinding 1/3 while learning the game, ran hot for 6 months, and eventually won a life-changing $5000 jackpot at San Manuel. In total, it took me over 1 year to build my bankroll to $10,000... things went well after that
@Scott-wq5lk
2 жыл бұрын
@Tommy Gunz This is a valid point, but significantly easier if you have a full time job. If the commenter is specifically looking to play only poker for income, then taking shots can be very detrimental to the bankroll, especially when starting out. When I was starting out, I believe it was noted that one should have 30 buy-ins at a certain level in order to play professionally (to account for variance), so you'd need upwards of 10K just to play 1-3 for income. Dropping 1K of that or more into a good 2-5 or 5-10 could take a while to recuperate at lower stakes. But having said all that, if the poster has a source of steady income and is looking to merely build UP a bankroll to then start playing professionally, then taking shots is a great way to do so, because you can increase your roll fairly substantially with one or two sessions of really drunk players. And, when those players get lucky and you go broke, you're only busto until your next paycheck.
That Slopps guy is a pretty big KZread prankster
