Love watching your Amsterdam videos. I used to travel for work and I’d always get an extra day layover in Amsterdam. I’d even travel up to zandvoort in the off-season to get away from the city. Yanks Coffee shop was always hilarious to me as an American. They seemed to have good Bud as well.

Says he hates haze but loved the Dr grinspoon in another video as he decided it wasn't a haze lol..if I were asked for an example of what a haze is that would be the perfect one. Long flower time(18 weeks) tall and skinny, big internode spacing, loose/airy buds, narrow leaves and a taste and aroma which is very different to that typical 'weed' flavour. Grinspoon is 100% a haze in every sense. I think you believe that the 'haze' taste you don't like should always be present but that's not the case. New York City diesel is a haze, I would argue silver bubble isn't a haze at all personally. You need a haze connoisseur to show you that there's some haze you will love. The kali mist I used to get in the greenhouse circa 2000 was one such example. It was all individual calyxes like the grinspoon, looked like instant coffee not weed bug to this day its my favourite ever smoke. I've got a joint favourite now which is mean beanz 'predator' but you definitely could find a haze to fall in love with I'm certain

Never did like Liberty Haze, and was surprised when it won the Cannabis Cup for Best Sativa around the early 2000's. But I definitely agree that Barney's has always been a class act.

Coming from a grower I think the reason a lot of people don’t like haze is because in my experience when growing it you have to nail the grow. If you don’t dial things in and harvest at the correct time it’s not very good. It seems like it’s either great or terrible no in between for me with it.

20 years ago the small Greenhouse in the red light district was my go to first place for their super silver Haze. Amnesia was great also not the ammo of today.

You passed up the super lemon haze. I smoke for anxiety and don't care for hazes, but I was going to recommend super lemon haze. It isn't like lemon haze. Calm focused energy with no comedown effects. Great for waking up!

Love your channel, Drew and would definitely like to see a part 2. Regarding the Haze/Sativa issue, I believe the more of these strains you try, the more you will appreciate them. Two strains worth trying are NL5/Haze from Sensi Seeds, and Kali Mist from Serious Seeds. Both of these strains are classics and highly euphoric - they have stood the test of time.

Amnesia Haze vs. Super Lemon Haze?

Trouble with haze is the flower time, I think a lot of people (cash croppers for one) chop it way too early so you don’t get the full potential. I used to grow a sensi silver haze #9 and let it flower for about 14 weeks all my trichomes where cloudy/amber and it was amazing no anxiety or feeling nervous no wanting to bite my nails 😅 like most haze makes me do. A few puffs and my face would go all warm and fuzzy. Gutted I got caught and not grown in 10 years 😢

Tbh I don't think we usually get Haze anymore in Europe. You think all the big criminal groups growing weed choose plants with such long flowering times? Their goal is to produce and sell as much as possible in the shortest amount of time. My guess is that they all grow some random "sativa" strains and spray it with terpenes, hence why all the Haze in Europe smells exactly the same.

I only drive manual cars but I’m going to drive as many automatic cars till I find one I like great mate 👍

I think Nevilles Haze is the best haze by far I have ever had! I got a q in the UK and loved it. Then did some research and it's named after the person who setup the first grow bank in Dam. So when I went to Dam for the first time, the only place that had it was 420 cafe and they'd sold out the slaags!

Omg I loved Barneys breakfast bar/coffee shop when I used to go to Amsterdam from around 2000/2008 I remember getting red conger /amnesia haze /Tangerine Dream/ Kashmir. Don't know about now but they're MENU you used to be top to bottom with cannabis Cup winners .I used to come straight out of the train station and turn right and walk straight towards Barney's as soon as I landed in Amsterdam lol loved 😍 that place LOL

I've always hated haze .....first cus the taste and then I have the same adrenal issue which is mad cus never heard anyone else having it or hating haze as much as me which is double mad lol.....if I had to smoke one it would be 'Amazing Haze' from Regine in Haarlem..nice flava ...look forward to the vid 🙌🏼

I’ve never had a lemon haze as good as that one since, but it made me COOKED every time. I'm not a big haze smoker either, I'll always pass it up for other flavours when possible but recently I was handcuffed into smoking Liberty Haze due to lack of availability of anything else quick. It was actually a really enjoyable smoke so I'd recommend that if you can find a decent cut 🤜

Some of the flavours are great. But some are way over hyped too.

I hate haze as well. Didn't know this was a thing, but every single time I've bought any of it, be it purple, lemon, amnesia silver, whitewidow haze... They always just burned my throat like crazy and didn't make me feel nearly as good as when having any other type of sativa. Now I know there's such a thing as not liking haze and I'll stop buying them altogether xD

The champagne haze at Rookies coffeeshop caught me out last time in Dam. Wasn't expecting that!. This and the Strawberry Haze from coffeeshop Get Down To It was also impressive.

To answer you question, we need to understand how ceiling lint will cause the end of the world. First, people will forget to dust it, so when some person creates a device to get rid of, he or she will become a millionaire. Fascinated by this, another person will manufacture a "better and more efficient" cleaner. These cleaners will be held to the ceiling the same way a multirotor would be. On top is the suction device that removes the lint. Over time everyone will have one, and the human race will become lazy. Then something similar to WALL-E will happen and the world, but not the people, will have ended. IT ALL STARTED WITH CEILING

Depends how well the haze was grown had some lovely silver bubble

I would advise trying a blueberry haze, furthest away thing from a haze but nice with the haze lingering behind the blue taste

Go checkout the S5 (Amnesia) Haze at Relax in Amsterdam. It's my favourite haze and I love to smoke this when i go clubbing. Their Super Silver Haze is also really nice. Also in my opinion there are better coffeeshops in the Hague, like Dizzy Duck and Greenhouse Secret Farmers. You can checkout the Jack Herer cup and the Highlife cup to see which shops won prizes for their cannabis.

I’m not “on the scene”, but many years ago I used to smoke a lot. My absolute all time favourite was called Jack Herer. It won the 1996 cannabis cup, which isn’t surprising. I loved everything about it. The smell, the taste and the high. All my anxiety evaporated. It was gorgeous. I suspect it was a sativa/indica hybrid. I’ve not seen or heard of it in years. I would most definitely be happy to travel to ‘dam if it was available there but I didn’t see it on any of those menus. As I said, I’m not up on the lingo of youth (I’m a 61 year old grandma) and wondering if it might have a new name perhaps? I’d love to buy some feminised seeds too, if they’re available over there? Any pointers would be much appreciated. As a side note, I’m looking to get THC script over here in London, UK and although I’m aware you can’t choose the blend/strain you’re prescribed, I know JH or something very similar would do the trick, and a bit more contemporary knowledge would be great. So, yeah, if anyone has any advice, would be great. Cheers 👍🏼

The original jack herer that won the cup in 1993-94 was clone only from nevil. It was given to sensi they could never recrate it and it was lost afew years later about 98/99. Nevil did make a seed version for them by adding a diffrent haze hybrid father but it wont be like that first cutting. Then cus sensi lost the mother cut that won the cup and that was the mother to their seed vesion they were no longer able to make that seed version either and just created copies from the few seed they had left. So you can get jack herer now but its no were near that 93-94 clone, what they have now its whats also sold as the bedrocan strain medicaly. Nevil did make super silver haze wich is the same pedigree as the original jack cutting but the original super silver had stone as well as being more confusing, unfortunatly he made that last in 1998 and none realy exist comercialy. There are a couple of cuts held privatly though. Proper seed if you can find it thats going to give you stuff similar and on par with that first original jack clone are gona be quite long flowering strains eg from 12-20 weeks depending on type. If your in the uk ojd from conisuer has some fire haze seed, if there too much price wise for you or you get stuck just hit me up.

Honestly Super Lemon Haze is my favorite and I keep a cut of it from a pheno I like for every grow. Comes out amazing for me. Smells like lemon cookies. Would have been a good one to try although I have no idea what the one in Amsterdam at Greenhouse is like since I popped a 5 pack to find the pheno I have currently and it was my favorite one. None were bad but it was a level above the rest. Not the strongest thing I have. Not even close. But still a favorite from when I was younger. It has a high unlike most other sativa strains that I just like.

The haze high is evidently changing Drews immediate surroundings lol

All haze strains are mostly autoflowers unless you buy a good cali haze from regular or feminised plants

Sorry I’m late to the party. Haze, here in the states, is simply a mother strain for sativa lovers. Hard to find a sativa that hasn’t been tempered with a good indica, at least in Michigan. I’ve been toking since ‘74 and I fully understand why the shops are upgrading with the younger generation who are hip to all the latest trends. Over the 420 holiday I picked up (at a deep discount) a 3.5g of Super Lemon Haze live resin wax concentrate. It tested out at 75%thc but still no couch lock. Nice nasal burn on the exhale and big Lemon skunk presence. Great daytime burn. I just stumbled onto this video so I thought I’d post a quick comment on subject. Peace brother. -Papa

I used to love the super silver haze from the bluebird coffeeshop and Dutch flowers used to do nice amnesia haze but that was a decade ago I don’t go to Amsterdam now because I’m in a wheelchair and Amsterdam is not wheelchair friendly.
