I would say clear tail lights would look way cooler than the bright red but either way sick transformation over all! Oh also maybe a low spoiler and a front splitter too would add a nice touch!

25k for that is a great deal. 19:05 fun fact, you can use tire valve stems to remove badge gunk as well. Cheaper and just stick it in a drill.

As a guy who got a 2011 C6 for $25k last year and put the same mods on while parked outside my apartment, this was enjoyable to watch 😂

Wow, what a dramatic difference! I'm not even a big fan of all black wheels, but those ZR1 wheels look 10 times better than the stock ones that were on there. I've never paid any attention to the base model C6 ever since the release of the more aggressive looking Z06 model was introduced, but this one actually looks good now. Yeah, I'd rock this in a heartbeat!

Mike if you ever want to give the c6 too a fan, just know I'm here for you buddy 😁

I just bought my c6 at 21 a few months ago it’s a 2011 base c6 black on black, only has 32k miles the sticker price was 29k, I agree you’re getting a lot of car for the price

Perfect upgrades! I never liked the C6 because I thought the headlights looked cheap but this one looks incredible.

That actually looks pretty good for what it was. The wheels make a huge difference for sure. The black on black is the move there. You honestly could probably do some ecm tuning and grab a little more HP and it be a pretty decent car overall.

Still wonder where the 19 zr1 went? Mike care to elaborate?

Hey Mike, you should invest in some quick jacks. So we will lift the carpet additionally quick and they’re not super expensive for the shop.

Yeah put a widebody kit on it and hood with vents and a wing. Maybe a Carbon fiberhood and bumper

Add ZR1 front spoiler, side skirts, and rear spoiler either in carbon or carbon flash.

Mike a good idea for the shop would be to add a lift or two I hope some day y'all get a bigger shop for lifts and a dyno would adding a Whipple or turbo be over 30k I would like to see going to different off-road parks like North Carolina west Virginia Indiana Kentucky and have some fun

Corvette looks great, I've had three black on black - one with black wheels. Late in the evening when the sun is going down they look spectacular.

I got some content on a black 2007 ls2 c6 on my channel as I practiced 1/4 mi runs and video editing. I absolutely LOVED the ls2 c6 and it was the first of three vettes now. Bought it at 106k miles and tracked it 50+ passes on the drag strip to 125k miles....car was a tank and would drive 40 min to the track, hotlap 5 passes, and drive home no issue. Wish I still had it but love my current c7z

Street Speed 717 Great Video I think your C6 Stingray looks awesome and sounds great and I think your C7 ZR1s old wheels look absolutely incredible on it as well as C8 Style Headlights and I definitely agree that it needs a Corsa Extreme exhaust

Torque is where it’s at. Sure horsepower matters but the torque is far more usable.

I remained patient because you went out on your own which is very respectable and challenging - while every one else moaned about the increase in “personal ads”. But it does feel good to actually see some real content again 🎉 either way I’ll watch but glad to see it

2005 was the only year for that Fin. It is the antenna. 2006 and later have the antenna in the Glass. What you need to know! 😂😂

I just picked up a c6 grand sport for my new daily and love it! Coming from a mostly stock c5, it's an awesome daily upgrade. However, it's straight piped with longtubes, head work, and a btr stage 4 cam. So if you're trying to give away those corsa sports I'll gladly pay shipping for them so I can stop wearing ear plugs on my commute 😂

I definitely need a exhaust for my vette now 🙌

C6 is the sweet spot right now for Vettes. Great job on this one...

I'm torn between buying and building a nice mildly modified manual C6 or SC Lotus Elise as my, likely last, really fun car. What would you recommend for a guy who likes to drive backroads hard and just wants the best driving experience for 50k or less?

“Looks like they already put a LED bulb in it. It must I’d been a cheap one it’s blue” those are factory HID lights, not LED. They usually have a further throw than led too. GM went wrong by using a halogen high beam and not just using a bixenon.

Once that carbon builds up inside it will get louder. Give it a week or so. Should have just got LED conversion bulbs would have saved some money. Would have looked 10x better on a set of CCW’s

Id probably add a ducktail spoiler too that would truly complete it.

I didnt mind the stock headlights but it does look good. Love the car, got a great deal. My father owns this same car only in maroon( purple, idk) . Manual as well with extremely low miles

I also have a black base c6. Mines a 08 with the black side markers and black Cray eagles wheels. Not many good options for the base model. Im currently installing TSP stage 1 cam, headers, xpipe, and NPP z06 mufflers.

If it's too loud, then you're too old. 😁 Also, why don't consider changing out the CAI. the cheapest way to go is with a factory ZO6 CAI because you lose the resonator box and would gain a little more noise. These are cheap if you look for a used one. If you go aftermarket, I would go with Afe. Lastly, Curtis is Da Man! 👍👍

Those corvettes also get great mpg too. My C6 was in the 22 to 24mpg all the time
