I can't believe that they have shops in the USA that still have POTF SW Carded Figs still on the Pegs!!

I saved a TON of the loose figures I would use for my toy dioramas! I kept those and sold off most of my carded figures. I can't believe how much I spent on buying duplicates, especially for army building. I also figured out a way to slice open the plastic bubble along the top of so I can take the figures out but still put back and you'd never know.

That’s about all there worth is for dioramas …..I’ve never seen anybody this excited over these figures 😂 but if it makes ya happy more power to ya

Ig88 first single card release was on potj card!

Pretty nice haul. I collected all those too back in the late 90s. I had all the online checklists, Toy Collector magazines, etc that listed everything! I sold off about 90% of all my collection except for a few CHOICE items I really wanted to keep. I regret that sometimes but then also I have no room so I'm glad they went to a new home where they can be enjoyed. I think I was about your age and can remember those early morning/late night toy hunts but in addition to Target at Walmart we had Toys R'Us and Kaybee Toys! Those were the good ol days.

It's the same thing as collecting art. It still is fun today. I put like all 32 figures of 1995 in a big rectangular frame carded and mint and at $4.50-5 per figure spent to include tax and gas it was only like $150 a year 1995 & 1996 to frame up those figures MIP. Noting today people are spending that much on 12 new vintage figures today and Ohhh yeah they are selling today! 52 Freeze Frames (I had to pay the extra for Wee Quay $350 and Sand trooper $100) to finish that framed collection of $750 in total (nothing missed). For under $1100 1995-97 ... I know people spending greater money on paintings of those dimensions. 1998-2002 I limited my collecting to not have them all. From 2003-2010 collecting was more limited but more specific.

Reminded me when I was buying those figs in stores when they 1st came out.

....i was moron out of high school to have gone to toysrus back in 99 for Black Friday at 6 in the morning....only to be in line for 3hrs. All them potf figures are crap now.

In the uk I was seeing them in the most random stores. Maybe one or two undesirable figures but still used to blow my mind haha. Last few years I haven’t seen any around though

Yes power of the force i grew up collecting these, i have most of them and i went back and collected some that i didnt have at my flea market. I have a very good collection of these to this day and yes they are all open and in 1 container. Still very cool with there buff bodies, different as to what they sell today. Awesome keep going with the collection may the force be with you.

FYI, not every character was available on just orange cards or green cards. There are quite a few variants. The backs of the cards had a lot to do with the value as well as some of the serial/stock numbers. I need to find my Star Wars toy bible I put together listing almost EVERYTHING. OH, and that chip is the Comtech Chip that when you place on the reader plays sundbites from the movies.

He didn't go through the action slide figures to get Zuckuss! He didn't pick up Chewbacca ($12 regular sticker price now). He most likely got the common first Darth Maul of EP I for 40 percent off $5 or $3. There was a nose to mouth variant rarer variant paint job all red there (not the common symmetric black painting on sides). That is what I call my "CW cartoons Darth Maul!" 😂 Not bad prices when with 40 percent savings of around $6 per figure. I have Lee's action figures guide of 2004 showing thumbnail photos of all action figures 1995-2004 done in different issues checklist and variants of everything (vehicles, beasts, two packs, three packs, deluxe, cinema, conventions and solo store exclusives, etc.). I couldn't buy everything also ... just collecting what one likes and under $6 a figure ... Not bad!

Dang makes me want to buy a bunch of those POTF2 figures again. Those were my favorite as a kid.

@@robd1329 the first few waves were really buff and weird looking. But eventually that line got really good and made some great figures. Some that haven’t been done since.

Love D pins collectibles! I always pick up nice stuff from them.

I’ve got a crap load of these figs, right now I’m just trying to get all the bounty hunters that Vader hires to capture Hann and Luke, I’m just missing boba and ig88

I've never seen anything like this in my 40+ years of SW figure buying. If you could pick up that a copy of that Wuher for me, that'd be great.

Awesome video, bro. POTF 2 takes me back to my senior year of high school. I remember finding the first wave at Venture. The whole case was just sitting on the floor untouched. Memories! Lol. And the cashier was right! The first IG 88 figure from POTF 2 series was in a 2 pack with Fett in the Shadows of the Empire package. The next IG 88 figure release was on the POTJ card.

..same here. I was a junior and worked the summer at ToysRus just so i can afford to buy these. Its funny that my peanut paychecks went back into the store that paid me...all to buy POTF figures

I only collect TBS. -Hi, first time viewer here. I was 29 years old in 1999. I didn’t pay close attention to the ‘Power of The Force/Jedi’ lines back then. Your video made me think I probably missed out. By the way, are they highly articulated; or only five POA? Also, do they scale perfectly with the modern ‘Vintage Collection and/the Legacy Collection vehicles? Anyways, I still have the 3 foot store cardboard display of Anakin in the pod racer and a Fossil Star Wars watch in a ceramic Darth Vader bust. - The Disneyland neighbor

I know Toys R Us had them from what I’ve learned. They had majority of the exclusive stuff like the millennium minted coin collection which I just picked up the Luke and Leia (Endor figures) from my local flea market

Unsold stock from 26 (Power of the Force) up to 19 (Power of the Jedi) years ago. Wow! Even EP I figures 40 percent off ... They were tagged at $5.00 and 40 percent off made it $3.00 for that Darth Maul! He paid $6+ per figure other than Alec Guinness Obi Wan and Lando at $4 and Darth Vader at $5. Great buys!

Nice find.i just started finishing my power of the force collection that I did not finish 20 plus years ago.i only need 5 figures to finish my entire power of the force collection before they came with slides.i just stated collecting the vintage collection and just got 2 darth maul and I opend one and he is awesome.i also got k-2so and offworld jawa.there are so many I want and can't wait to see this collection grow.i am so on the hunt for a boba fett in a recent wave.i hope I find him retail.

I'm trying to sell mine on ebay and I literally cant get anyone to buy them lol. Used condoms are worth more at this point. I'm managing to get rid of some legit vintage figures for like $15 a piece. I have a mint condition original 1978 Leia on there, its almost been a week and literally no one has bidded on it lol. - If your going to sit on the floor playing with them, all power to you.
