Yeah I'd keep it just in case you decide you need to register it if the cops tryna be weird which wouldn't surprise me... Plus I bet he's one of very few in the US with a EU verison so mise well keep it. But that's just me, can't deny it would look cleaner without it but I feel like would draw cops attention it looks so much like a normal dirtbike xD. Edit: Also just from looking it up it seems you can take any KM/H and subtract basically 20 and that's equal to MPH easy maths lol.

​@@Styphoryte that's the worst conversion ever and doesn't work at all. Let's say for instance your going 20kmh by your conversion they'd be stopped still in mph.

Hell no. Chop it off.

Hold the M button down while turning on the bike. Continue to hold for a couple seconds and it'll shift KPH to MPH.

I cannot wait to see what the mod scene does with these.

for the lic. plate holder, look into some fender eliminator kits. And I recommend taking the MSF (motorcycle safety foundation) course in getting the M1. Great way to get that M1.

Definitely get riding gear for high speed. I had a ninja a long time ago and hit 110 and it feels like you’re in the matrix. Something like this for off-roading would be more my speed now.

Every couple months.. i would clean inside the belt teeth of sand ect.. just a dry clean tooth brush or something.. you don't want it to brake in a place you don't wanna be walking. ✌

This just facts.

I've owned the Ultra Bee since February. I removed the rear tail assembly. No need to cut wires. The connectors are spade(?) type connectors. I don't ride on roads. I actually live off-road so I didn't want extra stuff that just adds weight. I've never heard it called "heavy". I came from adventure motorcycles so it's the lightest motorcycle I've ever owned. I also own a Storm Bee which is 130kg whereas the Ultra Bee is 85kg (stripped).

I love my motorcycle lol I have a 2020 ninja 400

Keeping your chain lubed up might help with sound. chain sounds are all i hear. Great vid!

Great job on the video John! Thanks for making it. If you do chop off the plate carrier, do future you a favor and put some quick-disconnects on both sides of the wires in case you ever want to put it back on.

I think where the surron and talaria is a perfect fit with a 19/16 wheelset this ultra bee will be perfect for a 18/21 setup. I got a chance to ride an ultra bee the other day theyre really nice brakes are excellent and susoension is super cushy and its quick enough to enjoy as is for a while i think before needing to upgrade. I kind ofbwish id of waited and gotna ultra bee aince i prefer trail riding but i wouldnt be abke to ride around town on the uktra like i can my talaria its just too much if a dirtbike. And i woukd never street license one of these then you gotta follow all the rules of the road andbtraffic and cant enjoy it as a bike.

Yeah on most motorcycles you do have to push the blinker button to turn blinker off. Ride safe..

If you plan on doing street riding the the brake and signal lights make since this way you don't get pulled over and ticketed, but if you're only off road riding then remove the lights.

Trim the tail for sure. You can get a better mount for the lights and plate.

You've probably already cut the lights off the back, but I'd say to take it to a motorcycle shop. They'll customize that rear cluster for you in 2 minutes

I'd leave the plate holder on the back. Never know when you might want the turn signals, the tail light is a smart idea to keep. It would look a lot better without it though. I would not want to come off that brake light though, it could save your life someday. Especially since you're probably going to spending all of your time around town in that thing on the streets.

With metric, 100 kph equals 62mph. So at 90kph you're doing something around 50-60 mph, probably around 55mph. 200kph is 124mph, and 300kph is 186mph, so it scales up, which makes it a little easier to guess your speed once it clicks in your brain. 250kph is actually 155mph, which is why so many cars have a limiter that kicks in at 155mph, they're actually set for 250kph, because the gentleman's agreement on that stuff was founded between two metric nations, germany and japan, so that's why so many cars are limited to a non round number. And a lot of crotch rockets are limited to 186mph because they're actually limited to 300kph, since those bikes were coming out of japan.
