I think there’s a lot of TJ lovers out there that would love this Jeep and would have it running and looking great in no time. I bought my 04 with a bent axle shaft, oil leak, coolant leak, bad clutch, blown shocks, terrible tires. They’re the best kind to get. You make it yours and you get to wrench on something easy. The rust may be a bit much though.

That alternator is a 160 amp alternator from a 2002 Durango. It’s a popular upgrade for 4.0s. That connector is for the voltage regulator. Just cut the pigtail off of a Durango and match the wires up. Solids to solids and stripes to stripes.

I just bought and fully re-built a 2000 4.0 tj! Jealous of how nice the interior is in that thing!

When you're done with it, part out the interior before you scrap it. The interior looks to be in pretty good shape unlike the rest of the jeep!
