I think vintage is definitely the way to go. Especially since the price point better reflects the quality of the materials of the bag. 💕

The small opening on top of the flap is designed so Coco herself could hide the love letters she would receive from men during an event or party ... and the very small compartment in the middle of the two is for her lipstick.

Great video! I started scouring Vestiaire right after I watched it and bought my first vintage 80's Chanel... and then a vintage Hermes. So far, my experience with Vestiaire has been great... totally addicted now. THANK YOU! I did notice that the same handbags were also available for less on Jolis Closet, but I chose to pay a little extra on Vestiaire since I wasn't sure about the Jolis authentication process.

I've watched this video countless times and now it's finally my turn, I bought a vintage Chanel timeless small double flap on Vestiaire and it's currently being reviewed by Vestiaire's team. My ultimate dream bag I.Can't.Wait. Seeing you styling the bag on IG is also so inspiring!

Lovely bag Emma......hope you enjoy it. I discovered VC a few years ago, but only recently used it to purchase something. I bought a Balmain blazer, which luckily for me was already with VC, so I received it really quickly and I’ve just purchased a vintage Chanel chain belt and i’m just waiting for that to be delivered. I am now officially obsessed with VC and in and out of it every day x

I have been eyeing the Chanel classic flap bag for years, but as the cost of buying one new is now just short of £4,000 I never thought I could justify it, and was unsure of buying second hand due to risks of inauthenticity. But this is a perfect option! And I love the charm that vintage has. I agree with other comments to do a what's in my bag so we can see how much this one fits!

I am not sure if anyone has commented on the little zipper pocket on the flap but I was told it goes back to where Coco (who was apparently quite a flirt and loved the company of men) would store the love letters from the different men in her life. So, it has been keep in production to pay homage to her love for "love". Congrats on the new bag! It was so fun watching its journey to you! I know she'll fit right in with Judith and Barb lols xx

vestiaire helps reselling what you bought in case you don’t like the item. that’s ok, but still i spot among the itams that are online ready to,be delivered some fakes. especially bottega veneta bags. and: always ask the seller (especially the french ones!) if they are smokers because i twice(!) got a chanelbag stinking of smoke. one i resold. the other one i kept and i put a couple of scent bags in it. love your channel! bless you emma💋🌸

Lovely and informative video. I love watching unboxings, especially a Chanel bag bought for the first time. I'd been saving and saving for a wallet on a chain and gave up because of the massive price increases. But one day just looking around a nearby village shop, I went into a little vintage shop as they often have black gilets that I'm always on the hunt for....and there was a black lamb skin with gold hardware WOC on the counter and I 'eeeeked' and asked if it was for sale a and how much it was...and I bought it. It was a lovely experience and some ladies were in the shop and shared my excitement and I absolutely love my bag, it's perfect for nights out and posh lunches. Enjoy yours and think about all the amazing adventures yours went through before.

Ahh I love it! I got my vintage Chanel off there too :) Great tip about keeping your eye out for discount codes on their top banner, I got an extra £50 off a bag I bought a couple of days ago, but they had £100 off and £200 off codes too.
