Explaining your funding via a day in the life montage was a great idea and very well executed! Great editing! And really useful info. I love watching you two because you have such a great energy about you. Thanks!
The production quality, editing, pacing, all of it now since they began has gotten SO good!
I enjoyed that a lot. I didn't realize you guys were so broke back when you first got started. Thanks for sharing and it's been awesome to follow along for so long!

broke at sea...
The thoughtfulness that went into setting up the transitions for your editing was phenomenal. It's worth watching you every week just to see what creative ways you set up your cuts. Probably the best production/entertainment value I've ever seen on a KZread video. Nice job! I hope you can keep it up!
Always put a smile on my face when I see UMA has uploaded again!
I love how you out that segment together. The only thing missing was Dan on the toilet reading a newspaper 😂
As always, I love your videos.....we all do! I think one of the greatest thingest you contribute is the idea that the world isn't all that big. What do I mean. I watched project Adicus from the beginning as I did your channel. Now you're off sailing and meeting in for what for most of us is a far off corner of the world. You started off in New England they started off in Florida and now your together. Amazing! The number one thing is you are all such nice people and notoriously hard workers! You set an amazing example of what people can achieve if they only dare to try! Thanks for setting that example! God Bless You!
You two are such an inspiration. That you made all of this happen with such a limited set of funds really lends hope to my ambitions. Thank you. By the way, this is one of your best videos so far. It would have been easy to sit in front of the screen and answer the money question, but instead you chose to apply your imagination and creativity to the task. Keep up the good work.

When you've got the skill and confidence that Dan and Kiki have it's easy to be ambitious. ; )
Wow...your production/editing game just stepped up a notch. Most impressive indeed 📷👍 Love the channel, love the episode.
Loved the transitions! Very fun video!
Finally the Atticus episode. So I binge watch theirs first and saw you 2 on theirs and as soon as I finished them all I started watching yours. I love them both. You each have your own unique ways of doing things so it’s great to see the different prospectives. Love you guys. You all rock.
Dan, bicarbonate of soda and crushed dried mint to brush your teeth! My husband had problems with his teeth for years. Sensitivity! He no longer suffers from that sense he has been brushing for 4 years with bicarbonate of soda and crushed dried mint! Also one tea spoon of bicarbonate of soda and dried sage finely crushed is a natural bacteria killer, I had inflamed tonsils and began gargling with the bicarbonate of soda and sage after a night spent with almost zero sleep, I gargled 4 times the next day and slept well that night, yet I did continue for three days with the sage and avoided going to the doc's! That same mix is also great to fight all bacterial infections ie cuts, bites and even a soak a week for smelly feet with just bicarbonate and warm water and it works like a charm! just want to say that every little helps!
Now that was a top-notch video. Funny, informative, extremely well edited, and must have taken a lot of time and planning to coordinate, film and edit. Very well done. You two should be very proud of what you've accomplished. Love seeing your videos. Keep up the awesome work!
Nice delivery of the budget and costs. May the cash flow like seas under your Hull.
great episode guys. Thanks for including the ST logo on the board there. It was great to finally get to see UMA. Glad the dentist worked out for you too Dan. Yazmin really is awesome!
What a masterpiece of a video! I am pretty very few people notice the amount of work you have put into filming and cutting this video. I have never seen seven minutes of coherent talk about money in so many shots, so many locations, and such a long period of time.
Well done. I love how you performed your chores while explaining your finances. Keep up the fabulous videos. :D
People do not understand how much work you guys put in these videos good job btw
So I watched Project Atticuis first before I watched you two. I am so hooked on Sailing Uma and Project Atticuis that I am In the process of purchasing my sailboat and sailing the world. Its 5-7-21 now and the pandemic is slowly lifting in the U.S. My 2 year mark is in play. My youngest kid finishes high school to run off to college. Both Sailing Uma and Project Atticuis showed me through the lens that this can happen and I can do this. I will be doing this solo as to my daughter is my only family. So it will be tough and I will keep watching and following you all.. Thank You So Much!!!!!! Oh And Dan watch your head. I had an injury the same and it has complicated things in my life as well. I will be wearing a safety helmet at my doctors request. Be safe all of you. Retired USCG.........
I really like the way you stitched this episode together. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you!
Awesome video guys! I love the complete rundown of your beginning! It's videos like these that inspire me and keep me working on my boat adventures!
never. stop. -- y'all always make my thursday nights end with a smile!
Love your editing!
I started watching your videos lately and I’m addicted. Thanks for bringing us along on your journey ❤️
you keep on getting better and better at this. cheers from poland!
ooohh fancy editing! Very enjoyable. I love watching these sailing channels evolve and try out new things and you guys are up there on trying new things. Keep it up.
Your editing was really exceptional in this episode.
Really, really nice to see some personal interaction between you two. Great video. A big thanks. Stay safe (and healthy) :-)
Great episode - great information on your cruising costs - and that part of the video was the most stylish segment you've posted so far.
Loved the whistling song. That should be your theme music for your permanent intro. This video was lots of fun AND informative!
Thank you guys so much for this channel! You reminded me to have a positive outlook on life and a big dream, when I felt that I lost that and needed it the most. When I'm in the Caribbean some day, sun-downers are on me! Cheers!
After discovering you a few weeks ago, I went back and have been binge-watching since the beginning. We did the full-time traveling thing for 5 years via RV in the US. During that time, I found the Wynns when they were still RV-ing. I love the water and have taken many commercial cruises to the islands, but I have never sailed. I think we're too old to work as hard as y'all do so I enjoy living vicariously through the few sailing channels I've stumbled upon while watching the Wynns. Most I don't ever watch again, but you two are just so authentic and natural and I'm thoroughly enjoying watching your channel from the very beginning. I just thought I'd take a minute to say hey and wish you more flat seas and flat sails!
Excellent episode! Love the editing. Super fun to watch!
Love you guys! Look forward to each new episode! Especially love how Dan manages to Macgyver everything that breaks or needs repair. Just when I think he has met a problem he can't beat he pulls another rabbit out of the hat! Cheers and fair winds from Canada
Your sharing and honesty in the experience is what makes these videos so special.
You two are a riot with the interjecting between each other's conversation. Love it. Like an old couple does. But you have it now...I can only imagine in a few years.
Wow I am impressed, I love the editing of this video, fluent, coherent and definitely, it keeps you connected till the end, great job guys!
Looks like you guys are having a great time! Great video! My girl and I just purchased our 44 footer last week. She's blue water ready and has everything you would ever need (minus the RO and Solar Panels which I will be adding in a week). We will be out there in the next few months, hope to see you all out there soon!
Great video! The Project Atticus folks are brilliant at getting work while sailing. It's cool your meeting up with them. Thanks.
You guys Rock. Your creativity is greatly appreciated- thanks and keep up the fun, happy and healthy life.
This is your best video to date. The transparency in this video should serve as a benchmark for all other KZreadrs that make videos about financing. Thank you for your honesty and for also showing everyone that traveling does not have to be a great expense. Learning to live within your means is the key.
Love the editing in this vid... Keep up the good work - and may fair winds travel with you and Uma! ;)
You just earned two subs with this video. We are thinking of doing what you are and with how much info you gave in this video it really helps get a clear picture of what we can do.
Thank you so much for this video!!!! You helped me with a lot of doubts, or maybe "little fears"...
We looove your episodes. You guys rock it. Got one of your stickers and rocking it on my car! Keep it up
Great episode. They actual quality of the videos just seems to keep getting better! Good work Kika
Hey guys, great vid! I know it is probably boring and invasive feeling, but this is probably one of the most important subjects for those who actually are gonna "go for it". You have tons of great, entertaining, videos for those who for whatever reason will never cast off the lines, be it obligations, health etc. This one is really for the ones who want to do it too. I bought a 29' boat a year ago, fixed it up, and traded it for a 35 footer that needs work. Heading down to Florida Friday to start fixing it up. Good luck on your next phase of your cruising life.
Love the expense stuff. Proves if you really want to do it you can!
I loved this episode/step. It wasn't corny at all. You shared yourselves in such a real way, as you always do. All the best to you!
This was SUCH a good video I love the editing! And it was really eye opening considering the you guys did it with such little money. It makes me really wanna buy a boat. Thank You Uma!
I certainly understand Dan's reluctance to visit a dentist. I be baby and I don't mind saying it. I wouldn't feel that way if there was no pain....like putting me to sleep as I walk thru the office door would help. Uma has quite a loyal following and her monetary worth is much higher than the dollars spent on her, so far.....
My 2 favorite channels together! Awesome! Maybe I’m missing a few videos, but your boat interior is looking better than ever.
Our favorite episode yet!

I thought so too!!!
Possibly the best and most useful video I have seen in YT so far about sailing... Thank you and good luck...
Very enlightening and informative. Thank you.
I love that you are transparent with your patron channel earnings - you deserve the success and every penny people want to send you. You may be visiting much more expensive destinations in the future but I think with your frugal nature I think in a few more years you will have saved enough to do this indefinitely. Maybe one day you'll run Uma Nation training schools and expeditions to share the love and sense of adventure. Or we just binge watch and do it ourselves! Seriously though, given that you can effectively make a pretty decent living doing this now why would you ever stop? Have you ever had that thought or contemplated a future time when you'd have it?
One of the best edited videos ive seen, fantastic way to deliver your message... really enjoyed this video :)
I feel your pain. Just watched this episode after coming home from the dentist myself. All numbed up and can't eat unless I want to chew my cheek. Lol. Heal up well. There are things to do and competitions to win!
Yo! Absolutely wonderful 😊 😀 👍 Thank you for the insight into the 'financial issues'😊👍👍 You're getting more professional with your videos , as time goes on 😊👍👍👍 All love, and best wishes, Claire, Berlin 😘 😘 ✌ 👍
Just found your posts. A great story. I see you are in Great Britain now. Awesome. Before we got our Fleming we sailed a Pearson 39-2 for years in the Chesapeake and New England. A great boat that will always get you home. But even more that that your dedication and tenacity make you the best of the best amount “coastal cruisers”. When you said that at the boat show I cracked up. Looking forward to the day we cross paths at sea. 😎
VERY nice editing!!
Best episode in a long time. Great editing!
Great summary on the hard work and sacrifice you both made to build a life of successful, entertaining, and fun to watch cruisers. Keep up the good work! Cheers!
Love the coffee cup message 💜 So true is can impact your day. We vote for extreme dinghy racing!!
Love your videos ,you are so full of life, every episode is like a vacation in the sun.
Super enjoyed this video! Fantastic idea to do a day in the life while discussing the financial journey. - Thank you for allowing us to get a closet look at the life and what it takes to live it as far as money goes. 😃. Also proud of you guys for stopping to take the time for yourselves! Can't go anywhere if your body breaks down 💞
Really loved all that you packed into that video!! I wouldn't want it all the time but it was good. Cheers.
You two are getting so dang good at editing and telling a story. What a fun episode!
That was the laugh I was looking for. Thank You!!! Best wine glass ever
That was a good video. I like the way it flows. The info is good too. Fun to watch.
Great shots, very creative. Keep having fun and thank you for the info.
Awesome way of telling a story. nicely done!
I'm watching your channel for the first time! I'm already really enjoying it! Thank you! Also, I had a kidney stone a few years ago and my four hour visit to emergency was $8,000. I'm so ready to sail away from this crazy place!
Loved this episode, im still way behind on the episodes but catching up slowly 😀
first video that I see about money and finances while sailing that I do not get bored very good edition of the video made me like and subscribe congratulations.
great that you shared some of the hard times like dentists with the good like hanging with your sailing family. again you 4 are all inspiring. cant wait to see the chalege
Nice to see you all together.
That my friends is an awesome video. Keep it real and love the wine 🍷 glass! Lol! “Smile at the world and the world will smile back’
Excellent editing!
For me, this was so well done with the passing off to one another for the different segments. Commercials use the same technique with great effectiveness! I had asked previously what you did for a living, but I remember now that you are BOTH architects. I pursued electrical engineeringand later in life my interests turned to architecture as I enjoyed designing my own houses. I am doing a lot of binge watching and only have a little over 100 steps to go to catch up! But THEN I will have to wait a week for the next one!
Very interesting. This is the first video in the series that I've seen before. Watching from episode 1 and eventually will catch up with everything else.
Excellent episode!
SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS CHANNEL
Wonderful episode.
You guys are a hoot... neat format for a video. Loved every minute. Great camera angles too.
Great video! Mad editing skills!
I mean this in all honesty young lady ---------------------- you are soo beautiful. Completely unpretentious in your enjoyment of life. Your partner fits right in. Forgive me for my intruding but reliving what is so wonderful by watching you two is a real treasure. Thank You Both!
Great money discussion. Thanks for doing it. Love your videos.
This was one of the best editing of a youtube video I have ever seen. Very well done. Challenge: zipline between moorings. . . .that would be fun.
Loving this channel..
Thank you for this info. Very enlightening. You two are amazing!
Good video, and thanks for the Tip, I took a break here and watched the first 5 videos of Project Atticus... ✅👍👌
Excellent concept of video. And I'm taking notes for later...
Great episode guy’s. Hope all heals well from the dentist appointment DAN and follow up only for the crowns and no more drilling or grinding. Enjoy your time in Isla, we love that little island!!
Enjoyable as always. Love it.
Do not leave the area until your sure the crown is fitted correctly . So after use hot and cold food and see how it goes . Fitting and occlusion is critical. Nice vid

I agree, make sure it absolutely fits perfectly. However I am not sure the purpose of the hot and cold food/drink?
Awesome editing!
Thank you for sharing these details about money. As always, you guys are very inspiring!
Holding that "wine glass" all nonchalant like its perfectly normal. LOL you guys are great!
This is such a well edited and put together video. Well done.
