People with the money to buy do not wish to live in this poor environment. There is probably nothing going on. In the south this rather not often the case.

We do have them, I mostly film the properties that are nearer our head office, within a 3 hours drive perimeter, but sometimes go for a full week in the south east, or in the Alps. @marioh5172 : I'm sorry, but I think you've got the wrong idea. In this very area we have a famous James Bond girl, a certain singer called Sting and the drummer from the Police who have a chateau, the owner of the biggest cosmetics brand in the world, who bought her estate from LEGGETT, and several former French ministers, industrialists, sports stars, world-renowned artists... just to name a few. I would say that the Dordogne, like the Charente, Corrèze, Lot... is the exact opposite of the Côte d'Azur, no ostentatious bling bling here, rather people looking for calm and discretion. But for your information, the Perigord / Dordogne region alone attracts 5 million tourists a year, and we have some of the best hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants in France here. I can't tell you where or who, but in my video shoots for LEGGETT in the South West, I've seen more stunning properties than I've seen in 25 years of living on the Côte d'Azur, and even when shooting in Courchevel for example. Sometimes, in the middle of a forest, in the outbuildings of a chateau, you have the craziest collection of Ferraris or McLarens possible. Some very discreet people have collections of more than 100 classic cars in their homes. And this is just a small example of what I can talk about. Our off-market portfolio is just crazy.

Hi Ludovic, yes, it is booked 26 weeks this year, and at the time I filmed it, so maybe a month ago or so, it already had 11 weeks fully booked for next year. There are often groups of people who privatize it fully, bringing their own chef on site for instance. This place is a no brainer: The region is attractive, we have a real quality tourism here, it's in perfect conditions, high standards, it comes furbished as it is, the DPE ( energy performance diagnostic) is B/A which you basically can only see in brand-new low consumption homes, and that I never ever saw in any Chateau. It has large outbuildings, several cottages, really comfortable, play room, cinema room... And can host a large amount of people. Flat fully enclosed garden, with easy maintenance. Whatever the project, wedding venue, etc, it can fit all dreams.
