You should mention that it's not a tremolo system, it's a vibrato. Tremolo would be a volume modulation. Vibrato is the modulation of the note itself. Great video!

that's just the term that leo fender coined, so we are kind of required to call a vibrato system as a tremolo

Very much agree. My first guitar was a cheap Jackson with a licensed floyd rose bridge. I bought it because Joe Satriani and Steve Vai were my biggest influences at the time. The bridge wasn't fun to tune, or change strings on. Dive bombing was fun and all, but eventually I realized very little of my playing was ever actually using the floyd trem, so I switched to a guitar without a trem and was way, way happier.

Yes! When someone is a beginner , he wants to get the most for his money. Double pickups and seen as better than single pickups, 7-strings beter than 6 strings , tremolo better than no tremolo. Eventually (hopefully) we learn! :)
