i used to go buxton every weekend about 5 years ago, was an amazing place. the racing just got worse but this one seemed good

Buxton needs to run this meeting again next year. Do it as Pre 1995 2 Ltrs, Mondeo MK1 allowed but not the MK2. Anything pre 85, for example (Sierras, Bluebirds, Cavalier MK2's, ect, ect, ect) will get £50 Start money for the first 40 booked. Any drivers travelling over 100 miles get £20 extra start money and maybe do something such as the winner of the final qualifies for Startrax 1600cc Banger Championship if they could arrange that. I think it would be a big success and get Buxton back up and running again properly. Needs those posts removing though on the bends as that's what is putting drivers off racing there again. Danny Everett said he's never going back until the posts are removed due to what happened to him in his Civic, I think he's got a fair point there.

Buxton hasn't got a big following for Bangers the Street Bangers that run most meetings often get 10-15 cars. They attempted 4 National meetings this year and this was the results 23rd June Unlimiteds Cancelled no cars 7th July Unliniteds Cancelled no cars 21st July Vans 6 Vans 26th Aug Unlimiteds 4 cars
