All I gotta say is do this exact thing but with cold icing works like a charm .. soft icing doesn’t give the same petals that cold ones do .. plus u don’t need to build up as much the cold icing does it naturally which gives more realistic petals ..
"At times like these someone has to come and say stop" 100% accurate!! 😂😭 Beautiful cake!!
Why is it that I watch your videos and think I could do that, in REALITY, I CANT
Used your video to make my own reproduction today and so pleased! Thank you for your clear instruction and beautiful design!
Amazing! I will try! Thanks
Not only you are sooo pretty but very good at baking and cake decorating!
A great tutorial and I love how the cake turned out. Really beautiful and I can not wait to try this.
How very beautiful and creative! The funny thing is, this goes against everything we are taught about making perfect flowers (individually) to place on a cake, so it feels a bit strange, at first. But, so fun and so different. I love it! This would be fun to do on cupcakes, with each one being different. Thank you so much for this video!
I love watching all your techniques! They always turn out so beautiful.
This should be fun for artists, they already know how to use a palette knife in doing paintings! Very pretty!
Really appreciate the detail and depth of this tutorial. Thank you 🙏🏾

Cake decorating is so versatile. That's why it can never be boring! Can't wait to do a video on this. Im sure mine will look like a big blur! But hopefully I can make one petal look half as good as you!

more videos like this please
Lindo! 🥰❤️❤️
I was so scared to try this technique because I'm a perfectionist, but after watching you do it with all your tips, I think I'm brave enough to try it! Thank you all the way from Australia!

That is how I felt! It goes against what we are taught in cake decorating, huh?

@@debjudisch5548 Yes, its definitely different from what we're taught!
muito bacana sua arte, parabéns bonito trabalho! spaulo Brasil.
Lindo 😍😍😍😍
You seem to take the edge off learning. I like the more abstract approach because then everything doesn't have to be so perfect.
Does this work with other types of frosting? Like a sturdy whipped frosting with a cream cheese base? Thanks, it's beautiful!
Love you work, but please tell me which colours do you use, liquid or gel
Beautiful❤❤❤
Really helpful video! Can you do create the flowers separately from the cake, freeze them and apply them at a later date? Thinking about my wedding cake 😍

You absolutely can, that is what I do!
I found holding that piping bag a challenge in one hand and moving the turntable with the other hand a challenge
You are too amazing. Attracted with your beautiful flowery cake decoration. Can you share the recipe for buttercream. Thanks
❤❤❤
I love fussiya
💕😍😍
Can you do this with all types of buttercream
Do you think it’ll still look good if I leave it all the same colour of the buttercream
Too pretty to eat 🥰
Are u using normal buttercream or smbc or imbc for pallet knife cake decorating .. pls can i knw
Hi Georgia, when will you ever cut open your cakes? Would also be nice how it looks on the inside though 🙂

It's about the frosting technique...not the inside of the cake.
Can I use my Swiss meringue buttercream for these painted flowers or is it too loose and do I need something heavier and thicker?
Yeah this can work. It’s slap dash, muted and a bit messy yet perhaps with vibrant colors and the entire side done in greens and flowers 💐 it could become more impressive. Invoking a Tiki bar look tropical thing. The ragged edge was hideous though. I think with this much texture going on, the actual cake needs to be crisp and neat.
Hi how mucg buttercream did u use? Any recpie for butter cream?.
Is the white potion the whipped cream or butter cream on the cake
Can I apply buttercream hand painted on a whipped cream (whipping cream)? As I would like to keep the whipping cream texture for the cake but didnt know how to stable and apply for the hand painted by buttercream. As whipped cream coat is quite lighter then buttercream coated cake.😭Pls help!
Hi Georgia!!! Thanks for all your tutorials...they really help...I have a question: How tall are your cake pans? 3 or 4" Deep? Thanks in advance
@GeorgiasCakes
Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! They are 3 inch but either work 💕
Which buttercream is this, got it Swiss meringue
How many egg whites did you used to cover the cake with the SMBC?
@lupitafonseca
Жыл бұрын
Maybe to late, but to respond to you're question ,I used 3 egg whites (aprox 100gr.) To cover a 6" layer cake.
What buttercream recipe do you use for this demo? TIA
Will this technique work on the cake if it’s just crumb coated?
@GeorgiasCakes

Yes but may look too busy
Does anyone know if I can do this technique on a naked caked??
