    Работа бредовая. Пока она второй ряд будет валиком катать, первый подсохнет и шпателем будет сдираться. И всегда будут видны переходы. В этом деле как раз нужно вдвоём работать. Один мажет, второй равняет протягивает. Вот тогда будет результат отличный. А так в одиночку лучше по "старинке" 60 сантиметровым шпателем, не сильно медленнее, но и спешить не нужно.

    I do a lot of apartment complex jobs. They never do wide joints like this and i always shake my head. My favorite is when i get the lights burning and I can see every joint down the corridors.

    My clients most of the time want their home either partially or fully wallpapered. I have to be honest and tell them most of the times they need their walls plastered (idk what it's called in English) over because once the lights go on it's going to be a nightmare 😅😂

    I used the larger tool she's utilizing here and completed an entire basement in a day with the finishing coat. Minor sanding, and it was ready for paint. Worth the money for Level5Tools!

    Right ive done it alot over the past teen years im ok i look at my brother like a master, has skill much higher than mine with it, and then theres the dudes that do it daily, you watch them and it takes them no time and barely any sanding afterwards

    After the initial tape and mud are applied I use sandable primer to the joints that way you don't catch an edge and it's easier to see the low spots (also lightly tint your last touch up coats with chalk line powder/dust, red or blue, then it's also easier to find the areas that need to be sanded.

    I used to use coffee or a used tea-bag if painting white PVA onto a white ceiling (such as when re-skimming artex/a textured surface) I'd also throw sand in the first coat just to give a better key.

    I think this method looks fast with excellent results. Rolling it on is much faster than with a knife if you have many to do. It also applies an even coat in a full proof way.

    Well done, you make it look easy but it takes a lot of passes with the mud to get the touch like that! I used to lay it on, pull the skimming blade, then feather the edges. it wasn't until seeing this reel that I ever thought thought to feather the edges first like pulling a trowel. Thanks for the inspiration!

    In a pinch you can use a cut off piece of steel stud for a long blade works really well with it slightly beveled edge , you can also use a paint shield.

    For skim coating, rolling on a thinned coat followed by using a squeegee does great.

    I have done it on flat ceilings for 20 years. Roll it on heavy, follow with a 12" taped to a pole in the same technique you would by hand.

    Can also use a mark 4 or 5 sprayer to apply the mud on all the walls and sand it with a Porter cable 7800. And have perfect walls when the sun comes in there’s nothing but perfection.

    There is an imperfection in the lower-right quadrant, just below the midline. It’s very easy to spot from the side view, but not noticeable when looking straight on at it.

    I used that blade thing to cut wallpaper for this 26 years ago. I then figured that this way of doing it would be more efficient. After all, I had a bunch of kids running around and one of them I still was nursing. 😊

    I've seen it and done it for texture,it is actually a very efficient way but i'm not sure if it is the way to go for a butt joint, i think i would rather use a mud pan and a 12in taping knife
