Very eerie to see it like this. I remember my dad collecting vouchers from our local newspaper which gave a considerable discount for a day's entry. I had the time of my life!

There is nothing more heartbreaking than scenes of an abandoned and desolate place which was once full of life and joy. Especially when it is one that you once knew.

A wonderful place of happiness and laughter reduced to a place of misery and desolation. It was the best of all Sir Billy’s camps. Spent many happy holidays there, so sad to see it like a ghost town

Good to see this , currently staying on Primrose Valley (w/c 18/05/15), where we are on the park is what used to be part of the Butlins site, using google maps and GPS on my phone i actually found where the outside swimming pool used to be, its now a lake, but no signs of Butlins left apart from the odd piece of old brick showing through the new growing grass.....sad really that eveything has been wiped away...!!!!

I will get around to uploading the whole video eventually. There is around 1.5 hours worth of footage I took during my many visits.
