A really honest and detailed review. Probably the most detailed we've seen so far Mindy. You've totally nailed it in this video with what having a 'butler' is, and is not, in terms of the added element to your cruise experience. And, in our opinion, this video should be the standard guide everyone should see before they consider that extra Yacht Club upgrade.

I think maybe ask concierge about taxi next time. Butler usually takes care of everything inside your cabin.

You can request most things. If they can do it then they will. If not they let you know.

I just watched a new channel & they said something i never heard before about YC. that the mini bar you ask them to stock is only free the first time, not for subsequent orders. I thought you could ask for any type of soda or juice for the length of your cruise. Am I wrong? Could you please clear that up for me? I'd be on the Meraviglia out of NY. Thanks & thanks for the great video.

During our YC cruise they did restock it daily with what was requested. They do only give you the 1 bottle of liquor that is complementary. Our overall experience with it was ok. Sometimes they put stuff in the mini fridge we didn’t want but it was a short walk to the bar so we didn’t complain

Hi! This was such a great video, thanks for sharing! I’m sailing on MSC next week out of NY and had a question about tipping in the yacht club. I pre paid my tips when I booked the cruise, but how does it work with being in the yacht club? Do you have to tip your butler and concierge separately?

So I had this same question. It’s ultimately up to you. I read that some tip above the prepaid about $20 per day to the butler. We ended up tipping extra to our butler and other some other staff that we wanted to show appreciation too. Pro tip. If u want tip extra and don’t want to clearly had cash over you can request envelopes from the concierge desk.

hey thanks for the video. We will be traveling with the MSC Euribia next year. what about the butler? For example, can I order something to eat if I get hungry in the evening? And do I then have to pay for the food I ordered at the Buttler or how does that work?

So room service is included and a butler brings it to you. It may not be ur specific butler. It’s recommended to tip the butler who brings the food.

@Pepito-1776 they do require pants and and collar shirt. They don’t require a jacket or tie. They did turn a couple away in the yacht club for wearing shorts and offered to serve them dinner at their room.

We did. $100 extra at end of the week. That’s on top of the prepaid gratuities

No free or included laundry. They do offer a paid service

Tip - I like the butler to unpack . Some people are shy of it cos of their "small items "🫢🤣 So I pack my underwear or personal items in a large makeup type bag and pop a post it note on it saying "no need to open/ please store away in the closet drawers."

Oh also what is the earliest you can board? We also did the yacht club sailing in 2 weeks.

Yacht club gets 1st boarding available. It depends on when ship clears customs. But normally around 10

Hi its me again!! LOL Hey since I am doing the Yacht club do I have to give my luggage to the port luggage porters or do I take it with me to the yacht club check in area and the butlers take it for you?

Are gratuities includee in the yacht club price
