Reminds me of my youth, there used to be walk way around the side of the LIP, like a bird cage. Used to be a chap with the wildest fuzzy hair used to spot there, he was like the TOP’s god 😂 weekends were so busy with movements from Burton & Coalville grid heaven.

Great video, I loved the BR blue days... by around 1985 I had seen all the class 50s and the first 56 at Westbury.

Great video! Does a staff member keep on walking towards you to check on you? Did when I was there on Tuesday. Can't believe you are not allowed to pass the yellow line either. The D6832 & 37003 are looking in bad shape now 😪 Love you channel

Tas been a tad busy in Leicester

Leicester station looks a mess with all them shrubs between the tracks, it never use to be like this, and I haven't been there since 2011, it makes a change to see the old British Locos, being shunted and not the imported trains. And on a last note does anybody know if Leicester is getting the electrification treatment, track relaying and signal work and a extra platforms in the new station refurbishment, as I heard the whole of the line is to be electrified by the end of 2023, it seems like it is either along way off from ever happening, or it is only going as far as Market Harborough and Corby.
