As an actual cop watching this video in my squad car its pretty crazy how accurate jeff is with day to day life as a patrol officer. From running plates and checking past involvements to responding to drunk people at the gas station, it's pretty incredible how closely you mimic real life. I don't play GTA, but its fun to watch normal civilians experience day to day life as a patrol officer even if its virtual. Keep up the great content Jeff.

I've been on almost two dozen ride alongs. It's interesting how the days vary for LEO's. One day, it's a slow report day with nothing going on. Others, you're just cruising around bored our of your mind. Rare you're rolling code somewhere. And then remainder is just, more boredom. :) Or in one case, in a Ride Along I was on, the Deputy had to stage in preparation for a warrant search, and we sat there for a full hour in the dead heat of summer, only to find out the subject was already picked up by another city, and they didn't bother relaying that to County...An hour in the heat, wasted, because of a miscommunication. Nonetheless, thank you for serving and protecting.

Funny story, on the traffic stop on the taxi around 27:30, that was me driving the taxi. The cops thought I was cutting the traffic lights (which I wasn't) and I had an opened 12-pack of beer in the back seat. They asked why and I told them that business had been so bad that I was offering a beer to anyone who would take a taxi cab ride somewhere in the city. It was to drum up business lol

You probably have an FPS cap for GTA when it runs in the background. Why background you ask? because of that cad overlay that's focused. Try playing with vsync of the Windows settings and Nvidia settings like "Background Application Max Framerate".

I have perused more than a few GTA RP servers, and... it seems I am missing something. Seeking: 1. Serious In-Character RP. 2. Fleshed out LEO/EMS organizations. Disciplined. 3. 18+ minimum. Seems 30+ may be a better way to go. Not 'kids acting like rappers'. 4. Criminals that RP as criminals, LEOs that RP as LEOs.... not thugs and egos. 5. Gang turf and gang warfare. 6. A server that is not centered around the owner and his/her close buddies, all the rest of us mere NPCs. 7. Death or actual repercussions for it occurring in the game. Sick of the 'Oh, you were caught with 100 pounds of Meth? $5000 fine and 10 minutes in prison.' 8. 24/7 server. Does such a place even exist? I have searched various KZread vids, Twitch streams, and server Discords of the top 50 (or so) servers and none meet these very very basic and simple criteria. So, I am seeking information here. Pretty much my last hope.
