About that "eren didnt love mikasa until the final chapter", I disagree, respectfully. While it was the only time Eren admitted his feelings toward Mikasa, those feelings build up over time. You don't just suddenly love someone because you're about to die. Eren more likely always had those feelings, just bottled up inside him.

Actually the creator of the manga said that eren didnt have any feelings for mikassa until the scene where mikassa was going for a kiss. and somewhat confessed.

While I could agree that Levi wasn’t in love with Petra I wholeheartedly disagree about the lack of evidence. When we first see him in action he orders Petra to look after the wounded soldier and stay out of danger even though she’s one of the best fighters there. After Annie slaughtered his team and he’s making his way over to where the two titans are fighting, he finds the bodies of his dead squad. He keeps moving solemnly past the men but he stops for Petra, taking an extra moment to acknowledge and mourn. It was Petra’s insignia that he took after the battle. It was Petra’s body that Levi noticed was being thrown off the wagon so they could escape. I don’t think he had any romantic feelings for her but it’s clear he cared for her deeply.

You're right. If you noticed, MAPPA made her a little bit more masculine to match the manga. I just feel like that suits her better.

In season 3 Kenny says that someone from their family has just moved to wall Maria near shinganshina. That person being Mikasas dad. Kenny was saying this to his granddad (I think), meaning either he or his father are a common ancestor of Kenny and Mikasas dad. And since Levi is Kennys nephew, Mikasa and Levi share a common ancestor 5 or 6 generations back. Maybe I’m wrong idk.

What Eren did was self defence.

Eren obviously loved Mikasa. Look, in season 1 Eren was so angry at Mikasa all the times because she saved Eren every time. Eren wanted the opposite and wanted to protect Mikasa by any means but Mikasa proved to be stronger. Eren even asked how to be strong as Mikasa not just to take revenge on the titans but also to save Mikasa. He even said Mikasa not to join the military. Eren always wanted to be Mikasa's hero and wanted to protect her but failed every time and rather Mikasa saved Eren on some occasions and that's why he got angry with himself every time and reflected his anger on Mikasa. In season 4 when Eren was sitting in a bench with Falco, falco said he want to be the armoured titan and not the other girl who he trains with cause he doesn’t want the girl to be in war or get a short lifespan cause he loves him (obviously referring to Gabi) and before he said who the other candidate was, Eren asked "Is the other Candidate a girl?" He literally saw himself in Falco trying to save his loved one by himself. So, it's clear Eren loved Mikasa from the very beginning but never expressed it untill the scene where Hannes dies and Eren says: "I shall wrap that scarf around you as many times as you want." Doesn't that mean love??? Imagine one of your friends saying you this kind of stuff like I will wait for you at the bus stop as many times as you want and u love him one sided, Won't that feel weird? So Eren not loving Mikasa is a false statement and fans didn't get it wrong. She even asked Mikasa about her feelings 4 years prior to his attack at Marley. Makes sense I guess?

The crystal caves "formed by volcanoes" (no idea where you got that from) is assumed to be titan material created by a previous founding titan holder. They aren't normal crystals because they glow, so its probably more safer to assume they were created by a titan. They also aren't the same as ice burst stone, because ice burst stone was introduced into the story when Zeke found traces of it in Miche's gear, who's gear was taken before the citizens of the walls had access to the NEW glowing crystals from the royal family's cave.

I don't think Yeager is spelled with a Y because japanese adapt into caracters the pronouciation but there's no reason why Yeager is spelled with a Y since it doesn't mean anything, compared to Jäger which means hunter in German. The whole theme of being a hunter or being hunted is in the show.

Exactly - they adapt the "pronounciation" and while it is SPELLED "Jäger", there are 2 prononciations of the letter "J" in german and the one used in "Jäger" is actually closer to "y" as in "yacht" whereas a "j" is usually pronounced just like in the word "just" - thus using the "y" is indeed the better choice in terms of pronounciation.

i think 'jaeger' (or jäger) makes more sense than the other spellings. as u said, it means 'hunter' which holds a lot more meaning. also, if spelt 'ea' instead of 'ae', it would sound like eeeee, uno? 'ae' makes the ay sound.

@@Shuizid i know aot is originally japanese but the culture for paradis isnt. so while it does make sense for translation ito be spelt with yea it can be argued that for the sake of the culture jae can be used. also as i said earlier, ea still does not make the ay sound so it would have to be spelt differently anyway

Hange Zoe is called her in the beginning of the manga when she is introduced by Levi. Then the author later told the animators to keep it ambiguous. After that chapter you never see her pronouns used again.

No, titan shifters arent able to turn into a titan when they are already healing, not when they got limbs cut off. That only starts after a short time, so you are able to transform. Otherwise, no titan shifter would be able to transform at all, because their wounds would instantly heal

Fun fact: - when the scouts returned from the expedition where Annie massacred them, that scene with Petra’s father talking to Levi did not happen in the manga. Actually oluo(the one who bit his tongue often) had a crush on Petra. -another thing to add is that eren had no real issue with mikasa’s admiration, love for him. He was genuinely curious as to why she’d go so far for him and in the last few chapters when mikasa’s headache caused a “fever dream” she was actually witnessing a reality outside of theirs where her and eren ran off and lived out the rest of his 4 years together.

Yeah so basically, Hange was said to be by isayama that she could be a girl or a boy, you choose. Second, the only 2 ways to spell "Yeager" are, you know Yeager, but also Jaeger. Finally, it clearly says that it's Iceburst Stone and not crystal because that is incorrect. Finished, otherwise everything was kind of explanatory and I think it's really funny people don't know that Levi and Mikasa weren't related directly, as it has been gone over multiple times. So again, still a really good video!

Some people say they're not related but Levi and Mikasa are distant relatives. It was stated in the information for public disclosure in one of the episodes. It said something like blood relatives in the diagram. I also saw someone uploaded a page (from manga? Or guidebook? idk)

They are indeed relatives . Kenny's backstory confirms it . That the other half of his family fled to the wall , but they weren't allowed to do any business and so they remained poor farmers . Nobody in the 104 corps was surprised to hear that Levi and Mikasa were related because they were already thinking along the lines of " they resemble each other a bit too much " , they were more surprised that Kenny is also related to them .

From the straight start, you are wrong, Mikasa is both ORIENTAL (Azumabito) and Akerman, the tattoo she has on her wrist is the AZUMABITO clan, the Akerman and the Azumabito have nothing to do with other. Mikasa is only Akerman by her dad's side, who escaped from the people who chased the Akermans many generations ago, meanwhile, Levi is from Keny's family, which didn't leave and slowly died in the Underground City.

Thanks for explaining how the iceburst stone works and how it was created. For the longest time I thought the crystals underground were the same material as Annie's armor, I was then confused because pieces of the stone would break with alot less effort than what's needed for Annie's armor.

You busted the wrong second myth... He wasn't in love since they first met, he fell in love with her a bit after, somewhere around their training... If he fell in love with her only during the last few chapters, why would he be willing to run away with her if she had told him she loved him? It doesn't make sense. He said 'I hate you ' to Mikasa to push her and Armin away, he explained that during Chapter 139 ..

The Ackerman myth is conjecture. Their relationship is undefined, but given there were only 2 remaining families with Ackerman blood when AOT started; it’s highly likely that Levi and Mikasa are within the 20% range of being related. Eren having feelings for Mikasa isn’t directly contradicted in earlier seasons or chapters. Saying it only was mentioned in the final chapter is disingenuous because it ignores context clues. And if the time loop theory is correct then he’s had it for like bare minimum 4 back to back timelines. The wall titans are actually heavily referred to as colossal titans because the anime distinctly refers to the Colossus Titan (Bertolt and Armin) as the Colossal Titan. It’s an anime/manga discrepancy, but fans who refer to them as such aren’t wrong.

While I don’t think Gabi is evil, I don’t think it’s fair to not put her in the same boat as Eren. If their situations were reversed, she would ABSOLUTELY start the rumbling, the only difference is that she wouldn’t even try to understand that the people she’s killing are innocent. Also, while I agree that Eren’s actions during the rumbling are definitely evil, it was still a necessary evil (assuming he thought he was gonna actually 100% complete the rumbling). You cannot convince me that they’d be able to have peace talks with the rest of the world when (in S4E1) they were more concerned that Gabi might be Eldian than Marleyan (the people currently trying to kill them). Ignoring everything Eren instigated, the most influential person on earth declared war on him and his people. It was either Paradis, or the rest of the world. And he chose Paradis.

I'm not sure but the reason many people spell Erens last name as "Jäger" could be because it's (surprise surprise) German and literally means "hunter". And "Jaeger" also means pretty much the same since "ae" is often used instead of "ä" and it's pronounced exactly the same

And maybe because that’s the actual spelling of the german name. „Yeager“ is just the English spelling of the German Surname „Jäger“. Therefore in the German Version he’s obviously Eren Jäger as well and I also prefer it that way. AoT is based on Germany so calling him „Yaeger“ always feels like he’s some American guy with German ancestry, if you get what I mean lol

Eren later admits that he forced the titan to eat his mother at the end of the series which is most likely why he was confused on what he saw as a kid. Not to mention, the attack titan can’t see that far into the future and doesn’t account for unpredictable changes.

lol this was driving me nuts, the Ackermans are Caucasian like Mikasa's father, her mother was the descendant of the Hizuru family related to the Azumabito Emperor.

6:07 wasnt it also to get rid of all the titans to technically save the whole world? he had to do it to save everyone, even worth the sacrifices, not just to save paradis island

Nah, that wasn't exactly Eren's intention. That was Zeke's plan (a "soft" genocide of Eldians to get rid of the Titans) - which also was totally unacceptable.

Eren did LOVE Mikasa. It's just that Eren never really did show his love, only his care towards her. Eren has loved Mikasa in a way that he feels, not shows. Because his goal is to mainly destroy titans and get revenge for his mom and bring about world piece, he never really show it. Because of this, you thought that he didn't love Mikasa until that certain chapter. When in reality, he's loved her the ENTIRE TIME

With Eren loving mikasa, I have more evidence That they were in love: In the first outro of aot and the last one, it’s a conversation between mikasa and Eren (Eren is the last) In the first it says “the world is cruel but very beautiful.” And the last can have a translation to “the world is cruel but I will always love you” Another line in the first says “what exactly are we protecting” And the last says “no matter the sacrifice, I will always protect you” (which is surprising, you’d think mikasa would say that 😅) So technically, he loved her before that Also in the rumbling op the song says All I wanted to do was save your life, never wanted to grab a knife All I wanted to do was the right thing, never wanted to be the king- in reference to the rumbling

Hating Gabi for everything she did is quite childish. The majority of watchers have already matured. I guess only the minority can agree with you on that. I'm glad I don't hate her anymore.

Even is a good guy he just wanted his friends to live a happy life and he loved mikasa he wanted her to think he hated her to make it easier when he died in the end don’t diss my boy eren

Protecting his friends was Eren's SECONDARY goal. His primary reason to unleash the Rumbling was a selfish one. That's why i see him as an Antihero. Neither good nor bad.

@@commanderscimitar1353 mass genocide is never the only way. there is no situation where mass genocide is the only answer. most marleyians were just uneducated, and did not know better. In fact, if he did the opposite (help marleyians and improve their houses/roads/education/etc..), it wouldve worked better. Eren could also just attack military bases instead of the entire world. Even if marleyians were all evil, there is no reason to attack all other nations.

Marleyians are too stubborn to change there ways, sometimes fighting back is the only way, you people say the rumbling isn't the only way, but it is, improve marleyian society isn't a way to stop this, because the leaders of marleyian are to corrupt. And yes there is a reason for eren to kill the other people, it is because the governments of the world agreed and support Willy Tybur, go read the manga or watch the anime more indepth, there is a reason.

Erens plan was actually to get his people to stop him so that they can be free from discrimination That's why he pushed them away, yelling at Mikasa, beating Armin up... He just wanted to exonerate his people by posing as the bad guy Then the Eldians stop him and receive exoneration...

Ima bust all her myth busts. People have only been on paradise island for about 100 years, meaning there have only been about 3 generations of people born on the island. Along with that in an interview it was implied that Kenny was cousins with Mikasas dad, which would make Mikasa and Levi second cousins. Erens connection to Mikasa wasnt just there at the end of the series, but all of his actions in season 4 involved her and saving his friends. Everything he did that last 4 years of his life was to make sure her and his friends could have long lasting lives. There is even an alternate timeline shown where if Mikasas confessed her feelings for him earlier, he would have ran away with her and lived a life away from the war. The reason people believe Levi and Petra had chemistry, is bc the show points in the direction of Levi caring more about Petras life than any other member of the Levi squad. Petra was the newest member so its possible their relationship was more of a mentorship. Its also possible that it was somewhat romantic, its left up for interpretation. Her theory about why Erens power wasnt transferred is kinda right except not explianed. The power of the titans is all about the spine, for the power to be transfered a pure titan has to bite through and drink the spinal fluid of another titan. Hence since Erens spine was not touched he didnt die and his power was not transfered. They are reffered to as collosal titans countless times through out the show. Hanji is biologically a woman and was orignally intended to be a woman, however a typo had many fans look into the idea of her being non-binary, and the creator decided to make her non-binary to add representaion, however it was never his intention with the character. We cant scale the size of the real world to attack on titan, meaning that there has to be millions of collosal titans for it to be possible to rumble the world and kill what is roughyl 2 billion people. Paradise has to be bigger than Madagascar. Finally Eren is not evil, with the knowledge to see pieces of the future, including possible futures, as seen in the ending where it shows two different other possible timelines. The only timeline in which paradise would last a few hundred more years, and his family would live long peaceful lives would be if he did destroy the world. Think of it this way. If you had the choice of saving everyone in your own counry, which would be all of your family and friends and all the people youve ever met in your life, or all the people outside your country, of people who u have never known in ur life, who would you save. I personally would save my friends and family bc their lives are more valuable to me than the rest of the world. I would assume this to be the morally correct decision. However this moral question is brought up in attack on titan, and makes the other choice seem like the heroic one, while eren is viewed as morally wrong. However neither are truly morally wrong, its simply a matter of perspective. That is apart of the beauty of attack on titan. There is no true villian or hero, there are just people who have conflicting ideas.

Loved this moment in the 28's episode of 4th season when Eren was talking about Ackermanns and Zeke said "Nah, I think this is myth. The secret is that... This girl is in love with you Eren". That was so nice. Also, Zeke has this trauma, I loved him seeing happy near to Eren, playing like a child with his baseball :D
