So Adam (Skivator) wanted to show me these while we were in Richfield checking some stuff out, and as we pull into the parking garage we see this security guard by the front door of the building, and i think in my head “oh boy, i hope this guard doesn’t yell at us”. So after we parked we went to the main entry and the guard wasn’t there anymore so we simply proceeded to film the elevators. Well sure enough if you notice when we switched elevators, the car we were switching to stopped on the 3rd floor, my best guess is the guard was calling the elevators on every floor to see what why the elevators kept going up and down. Well we decided to end on 2A which was one floor down from 3, and yeah bam, Busted.
I do really like these things tho and i wish i could’ve gotten a better video of these, we were sorta in a rush anyway.

That guard shouldn't talk like that he could have been nicer it's private property all that he has to say is I am sorry guys but we don't allow filming so I'm gonna have to ask you to leave and that's the end of it he has no right to be a jerk about it.

While it is true that Security Guards have the right to ask you to leave in private property, that was NOT the professional way to do it. That security guard was just plain rude and shouldn’t act that way towards you guys. Sadly people act rude like that today and yea it’s so stupid that they even show that attitude towards elevator enthusiasts when they haven’t really done anything to trigger those people into that mood

The other true thing is that security guards do have the right to ask people to stop taking photos in private property. You know, whenever I will be planning on filming in private property, I will and always must comply with what the owners and/or security tell me whenever they ask me to stop recording or to leave the property.

Well, in sum, people should always be respectful towards security guards since private owned buildings are really a privilege.

they think that uniform and badge they have is a license to be rude. Many of them forget they are not cops.

I am so sorry that you got busted by security that happened to me before at Chesterfield Mall I was riding the service elevators and then I got busted by a Nice Security Guard
This is why I don’t film on private property, when I want to film, I comply with the order first

I remember seeing this right as it happened on Ski's live stream. Probably one of the worst busts I've seen so far. It's sad what society has turned into nowadays.

@@AlexElevatorFanI understand your frustration Alex, but at the same time, none of us know what that person’s going through at the time.
That Guard wasn’t really acting professionally, He seemed to be not having a good day I guess. (Just my opinion.) I had a very similar situation, when this happened to me last year at a Parking Garage with a KONE Series 220 elevator that faces a private Office Building lobby. The guard was really nice about it though, compared to others I’ve seen on this platform for many years. These are really nice and cool elevators! I really like those bells, Dover Buzz of course, and the scenic view of the underground Parking Garage levels. Also above, on the Street.

Honestly I would have complained to the property owner, that was not professional at all. If I was the owner of a building and had a security guard act like that towards people, I would fire him immediately. There’s a professional way to handle situations like that
