seriously... everyone was so hyped on the back lip alone, and he really flip back lipped it... i feel like it was one of those contest adrenaline tricks that he probably never would have thought to do normally. and that's why i love bust or bail so much

one of the few times in my 20 years of skating that a trick brought a tear to my eye... that kickflip backlip was phenomenal. Also BIG props on that barley grind!

That kickflip back lip gave me goosebumps. This feels likes like Alex midler just became an elite if he wasn't one already. 🛹🤘🙏

Glad to see they have enough room to roll away instead of having to roll into a crowd of people.

nowthatsurban The things you’ve seen first hand was probably unreal. I’m guessing you filmed even before the new blood days, which were heavy times for Zero. I’m also 30, but I’ll assume you’re a tad older still.

I remember thinking recently that it sucks how this spot got capped, and you never see tricks on the rails anymore. Then Thrasher goes and puts on a Bust or Bail!

Seen midlers ender at least 300 times on Insta still never gets old

This is why I love sk8boarding. Everyone excited for everyone else. That kick back lip gave me the chills.

I’m so stoked for any non-skaters that got to witness this competition in person. Just to see everyone root for one guy to do a trick no one thought was possible. This is why we skate, it’s unlike any other sport on earth

Melon grab using a roll in with full pads hidden under your clothes and popping bottles with your dad after flying him and Ali Boulala out; one of these things is not like the other ones hahaha even Ali thought Jaws was a fuckin kook. Don't get me wrong the trick was legit it just doesn't hold up to all the hype when you see the full circumstances and not just the photo/clip, and Ali knew it. For him it was probably like your son flying you out and telling you he's got some big news and when you get there he takes you and the mrs. out to a fancy dinner only to tell you that he's decided to become a woman.
