I love that our Trini men can throw down in the kitchen, most of them can cook better than the woman too. Dat buss up, pumpkin and mango look good.

Thank you for allowing me into your kitchen and meeting your family. I enjoyed the experience!

Everything looks good and I'm so happy that Sam takes interest in the preparation of the food. I'll wait to see if he tries to cook any of the dishes in the future.

Hi, Phylis! Thanks for joining us. Sam is actually the primary cook in the house because he loves cooking. He also loves Caribbean food. I introduced Trinidadian style foods to him because that's what I grew up on. Sam is a quick learner and makes a really good Caribbean Style Stew chicken. OMG everything looks delicious. I used to have neighbors in front of me who were from Trinidad seems like every weekend there was a party at someone house. I was always invited to go. And yes the food was delicious. Everyone was always very friendly. I also had a customer he was from Jamaica in the summer when it was hot he would bring me a big glass of carrot juice. He also made curry chicken, so good. He wanted to take me to Jamaica he would ask when are we going. I said to him oh that would be so much fun since you are from there. I said we are going to have a blast me you and your wife. He would say no just me and you. I never went. I really enjoyed your video it's nice to see family together cooking and creating good memories and good food Happy holidays

Really enjoyed the Trini cooking segment, I’m a Trini from Georgia and I love your family, videos, and the buss up shot, looks yummy.

There is nothing like having family come and cook some good food for you. Especially your culture food. The food looks Yummy.

Loved this video. I live in Trinidad. Your cousin made making buss up shot so easy. Your other cousin did hus thing with the curry manfo, pumpkin and channa and porato. All the best for the New Year.

I'm going to make some of the curry mango and pumpkin. I'm already a curry chicken queen. I purchased that round cast iron a goodwill and I didn't know what is was for, but I know it was something special so I was using it to warm soft taco. The Chinese use those wooden utensils too, I saw a chef name Simple Ming use them before. Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year to you and your family.
