I started taking buspirone about 2 months ago and I love the fact that it's taken away my anxiety almost completely. The one thing that it does do after I take it is gives me Head Rush after about 30 minutes to an hour that last maybe 30 minutes or so. Do you get the same head rushes effects after about 30 minutes or so after taking it?

I definitely get that. I thought I was having a reaction when I first did.

Can you do a video on your anxiety and what you experienced with it? I’ve had anxiety before, but nothing like what I’m experiencing now. I’ve been told I have panic disorder, and I’m trying to find a medication to help. I tried Buspar for like a day or two, but it seemed to make my anxiety even worse. Just wondering if your anxiety was similar…rapid heart rate, icy feeling in the chest, tingling in the extremities, shortness of breath, etc. Also, thank you for sharing these videos.

I started Buspar 2.5 twice a day a week, then 5 twice a day, and slowly added more. It’s been great. I hope you find what works best for your life ❤️

@@jeanies8495 Thank you for your response ❤️ I did start Buspirone again over two weeks ago, but this time I started at 5mg three times a day. The first week my physical anxiety symptoms seemed to lessen and were easier to manage. After that week though they became a little worse. So I’m now trying Buspirone 7.5mg three times a day. I’ve been on that dosage for the past two days now. The physical anxiety symptoms are what’s most bothersome for me, especially at night. I recently started taking Magnesium to see if that helps, and I’m looking into CBD oil to help my insomnia at night. I’m currently taking a very low dose Xanax at night to help, but I don’t want to have to keep taking that to sleep. Hoping I’ll get this figured out soon 🥹 Just gotta keep pushing forward. Slow progress is still progress.

So cool you are in Georgia! I wish I could talk to you personally. I am on day 6 or busPIRone and I have having a lot of ups and downs. I don’t know if what I’m experiencing is normal or not or if these are side effects that will resolve. Did you have PMDD as well?

Hey J! I have periods of panic and anxiety and they came back last year. I've been raw dogging it for a while but it's gotten bad and I have to go back on something. I have been on Lexapro twice in the past and it worked but it made me feel terrible each time. I have been putting it off since my anxiety is health-related and it makes me nervous to take anything. I just need some encouragement i guess. How manageable would you say the side effects have been now that you have been on it for a while.

I think that 15 mg of buspirone is best. I have been with 30 mg, but at that time i also took 30 mg of mirtazapine 😂 with also adhd meds. Right now i have find my coctail. It's now easy to have adhd, ptsd and some other diagnoses. The only problem with buspirone is that sometimes it does not help with physical sympthoms, nightmares or insomnia which is also related to adhd and trauma.

Im having the same rapid metabolism of methylphenidate. My first dose takes 45minutes to kick in and lasts 45 minutes before I take the second. From there I take them every 1.5-2hr apart. How long do you find Concerta lasts you?

For me, 18mg of concerta will start to kick in 45 min after I take it and then it will last for 4 hours, and then I have a dip midday. The dip lasts 3ish hours and then the concerta starts working again for the rest of the day. So far, it’s a lot smoother than ritalin for me but I do have to take ritalin boosters midday if I want to avoid the dip (directed by my doctor). Besides the dip, i really like concerta and have no bad side effects. I hope this helps!
