When I was younger, I purchased a new tent trailer that I had for many years. I really enjoyed it, and it was great to be able to store it in my garage. Setup and teardown was a little inconvenient, but the biggest issue was that it was hard to keep it heated at night. I don't need a lot of conveniences when camping, but a good nights sleep is a must, that's why I didn't like tent camping. I retired in 1988 and bought a new 17" travel trailer and an F150 pickup. They were both ok, but the Winnebago travel trailer quality was lacking and the truck quality was acceptable. The overall experience was good, but it was sometimes difficult to book fully serviced campsites (we are not into boonbocking), and so most of the trailers amenities were basically unused. When Covid came along we had an opportunity to sell the truck and trailer for virtually what we had paid for them, so we sold them and looked for other options. We had a Honda CR-V, so we removed the back seat and built a bed platform. It was actually better than we had expected. Space was tight, but we could get a good nights sleep and the campground toilet and showers were sufficient. We like to explore our surroundings, so we typically only cooked at the campsite at suppertime. Since then we bought a new Honda Pilot and built a bed platform, leaving all of the seats intact. We added a rooftop carrier and so far we are happy campers. We carry an instant tent that is used for bug free R&R and privacy. If we were to get another trailer, it would most likely be a small teardrop. The features are more than enough to meet our needs and comes at a reasonable price. Also, being able to store it in our garage is a big plus. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos.

You have done about all types of camping. Teardrops are super simple. Appreciate the great comment.
