Very nice video. I'm curious what you used to start your fire. It looks like you got it going very easily with just a match and sticks, but I think there may have been something else. I'm 60yrs old and lifelong outdoorsman but new to bushcraft. Learning along the way. Thanks.

Great video but he forgets to mention something very important. When harvesting your tin bark from the Foil tree; always pull it counter clockwise, in a northern downward motion. Otherwise, the chicken meat turns darker than the thighs of an African rooster. It's possible to screw it up so bad the tree can bleed to death, and stop producing its shiny fruitbark. Great bushcrafting tho. I could almost feel the bush.

Peel the potatoes, but leave the skin on the chicken? Switch it next time. Take the skin off the chicken, let that flavor into the meat. Don't peel the potatoes, add some texture and flavor to them.
