I have a few knives with exposed pummels ( Mora Garberg , Joker Lynx and Joker Nomad ). I prefer a knife without them as I find it more comfortable in the hand . In fact my favourite handles are on the Mora 2000 and Mora HD Companion both of which are a great fit for my size 9 hand. Back to Joker knives the Campero and the Nessmuk have well shaped handles too.

I have never needed the extended tang pommel on the knives I have with that feature (I have 2). Perhaps there might be a situation sometime when I would need that and I would have to make do with an ubiquitious stone. Good points in your video!
