Great video and vibe you have! 16 year combat veteran here, disabled now but it’s good to hear younger men like yourself with such a great attitude who have overcome such challenges Peace brother ✌️ You have my subscription
From one Pastor to another - thank you brother for both your videos & more importantly your transparency & sharing Jesus! God bless!
I finally found a LT Wright Lagom and bought it based on your recommendation. Love the feel of this in my hand.
You’re a humble guy who does not oversell yourself. Love your videos. Perhaps you might share your salvation story with us some day. I’d really like more Bushcrafters to share their faith journeys.

Yeah brother!! Thanks so much for stopping by! I've actually just conquered the addiction. Kinda.... haha! I'm posting a new video of my cutting tool collection today actually! God bless brother!
Bushcraft is sustaining ourselves in the wilds, this also includes butchering game and food prep, I think some people forget the game prep aspect of bushcraft and will claim that a scandi grind makes for the best bushcraft knife, the best knife is the one that works best for you . great collection and great channel thanks for posting 👍😁💪🏻.
With the current mass of offerings of knives the only two makers I truly rely on are BHK and LTW. I have: 3x PLSK-1/Highlanders. One flat, two Scandi 2x Gary Wines. Both scandi, one 3mm, one 4mm thick (an older model). 1x Genesis. Larry Roberts Scandi model. 1 X GNS. Scandi. And due to the history all feel like they’re made by the same people so there’s a consistency there.
Nothing is better than Bushcraft and fellowship! 🙏🏻❤️🪓🔪🔥🙏🏻
You have excellent taste in knives!
Enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing.
I have yet to buy an LT knife, I have lots of blades mainly $100 to $150ish in range. I do own a Benchmade Bushcrafter which might be my last over $200 knife . ...We shall see. Honestly there are some killer blades for far less money esp if ya dont mind building them from blanks. I enjoy making my own more than buying one already made to go. Regardless bushcraft blades are so much fun , ive seen way worse addictions in life. Nice collection brother.
Looks like you have all the bases covered, knife wise! I enjoy your channel. God bless you, and your family. ❤❤❤
Beautiful knifes! Thanks for a nice video!
Hey man im jon. I have a channel going on 6 months now gaining some speed having some fun with my outdoor gear. I have been clean off heroin for around 6 years almost and i am really having a rough month i had flu then covid haha. long story short i watched your video because i have like 150 knives in my collection but not many puukkos i want a good feather stick knife. anyway, ending your video i did get a nice relieving calming feeling and it made my 3rd shift night so thanks man god bless ya and ill subscribe!
Great vid mate, just picked up a Gen 5 in saber, can’t wait.
Just stumbled across your channel and like your reviews and your kindness, you have a new follower, cheers from Germany :)
I have a collection of approx 200 knives but there is only about 6 that I choose as my go to knives 4 Bark River knives and 1 LT Wright and 1 Becker BK 2 I swap up every other day or so because I like carrying a different knife when I go out, but they are always knives that I know that I can trust with my life and the 6 I carry all live up to that need. I believe that a person should invest in at least 3 knives, the best he/ she can afford that they can depend on and keep them close by at all times. I say 3 because 1 for carrying on your side, 1 to carry in your pack and a good high quality pocket knife to clip inside your pocket to have for the emergency that sometimes we find ourselves in and if you carry only one knife and you loose or break that knife you could find yourself in trouble. Always carry a backup blade, knives are about the most important tool to have with you at all times
Awesome collection! I would love to get a hold of one of those Forrest knifes
LT Wright was part of Blind Horse Knives before they disbanded and split into LT Wright and Battle Horse Knives. Hence the similarities between your Blind Horse and LT Wright GNS
Great stuff ate, SUBSCRIBED. Cheers from the Pacific NW US.
Everyone has their preference in their knives and the grind on the knife and to me the best grind on a knife is the convex grind. Take for example batoning wood, the only time the blade edge comes in contact with the wood is at the very beginning of the split, after the blade edge starts the split the convex grind takes over and splits the wood saving the blade edge from doing the work and keeping it sharp. To me a convex grind just performs bushcraft chores easier and better than any other grind
Great video wonderful positive message👊🏽
May the lord protect you
Good man, good review!
🔥
I bought three Bark River Puukko knives and here is my only complaint! The problem is with the leather sheaths. The leather sheaths are too short for the size of the Puukko. (The knife keeps falling out!) The Puukko's are the only knife I cannot safely carry because of fear of losing the knife...
Only thing about the video is you don’t talk about the steel. O1, A2,ect. Kinda of a cool thing to know.
Ben’s Backwoods offers a really nice kydex neck sheath for the Lagom! Get one! You will love it!
Subbed, Great Vid!
Lagom is a swedish word. Unusal in most laungages. It means not too little and not too much. It is just right. Several LT knifes have swedish names. Some one must have a connection to Sweden and is a native speaker.
🤩🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👍
I want an esee so bad its my dream blade just out of my budget
Nice video. I have Lagom and am wondering how it compares to the Sisu. There blades look like they have the same dimension but the handles are different. How would you say the handling of the Sisu compares to the Lagom? Are they meaningfully different knives or are they extremely similar in the hand? Thank you!
Hi. Which knife do you prefer between the BHK Highlander and the Scout Platoon?
Nice video, is it safe to use the Esee PR 4 for food prep?
hey man, great video. I want a smaller puukko style knife paired with a larger camp/do all knife. Which blade profile do you like more for that style of knife when comparing the kepheart to the woodlore with a saber grind?

There seems to be a serious absence of Cold Steel, and Falkniven knives, but more particularly, the new Victorinox Venture is not there. Can one look forward to some coverage of the Venture, which is truly pushing the boundaries of bushcraft knife design with its many innovative features! Or is this another Not Made Here syndrome attempt to promote US knives?

I have been listening to all the knives channels that I can listen to because I want one knife as my EDC and I don't want to have a drawer full or a houseful of knives, you mentioned the word Addiction several times concerning your newfound love for knives, pump the brakes, there is a point where it does become an addiction, I'm just saying, be careful .

You already know my friend! Agree with me in prayer that everyone who watches this feels peace and joy no matter what they’re going through in life 😭
Have you tried any Bark River Kephart? I would love to get a Kephart with a convex grind as I am not a big fan of a flat grind. My favorite all around knife is a Knife made by Dulo Knives called Mahti. It’s kind of a full convex oversized Puukko. I also have a LTW GNS and a traditional Puukko from Jelio knives with a scandi grind that are very effective knives that I love. Anyway, I am still looking for the best knife for me and love that I still have to look for. Great video and great selection. 👍👏👍👏 Here’s a link to a video of the Mahti Puukko: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m5aIx7KcYbWwnLQ.html
