Taken on a 2016 trip to Poland.
Warsaw has a fleet of about 1700 buses, mostly Solaris Urbinos of standard and articulated lengths. MAN buses are also plentiful, just as in the rest of Europe. Jelcz makes up a much smaller proportion of the fleet. At the end of the clip is Warsaw’s only Volvo 7900 hybrid.
All the trams are from Polish manufacturers. About half of them are from Konstal (the older looking ones that are the 105Na and 116N) while the other half come from Pesa (the 120N, the Jazz Dou 128N, and the 134N).

Not in the world, not in Europe, but just in central Europe, and not even the most modern, just "almost" the most modern. Truly one of the public transportation systems of all time.

Arriva also operates in Warsaw, as well as MZA, Mobilis and PKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Michalczewski used to operate, but lost a decade-long contract with MZA and Michalczewski's NG363s and NM223.3s were taken off the streets of Warsaw in June of 2016. A farewell to those buses was made in September of 2016.
