BUS TO ABU DHABI from Dubai (some tips too!) and The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

How to get to Abu Dhabi from Dubai:
Bus/metro/taxi to the Ibn Battuta bus station in the Ibn Battuta mall. If you walk up to the map it'll show you were your stand is (there are also security guards who are incredibly nice and helpful if you have any questions).
First thing you need to have is a Nol card (Dubai's transportation card) with at least 25 AED on it if you are taking the bus to Abu Dhabi's bus center.
The bus to Abu Dhabi's bus center departs every 20 minutes and takes over an hour (maybe an hour and a half-ish) to get to the bus center. In the bus center, if you plan on using Abu Dhabi's transportation, you will need to get a Hafilat card (similar to the Nol Card). Do that before you leave the station or you might end up waking aimlessly looking for one later on. We used the Hafilat card to get to the Abu Dhabi Airport the next day (It cost $1.05 USD for over an hour on the bus!).
There is also a bus that takes you from Dubai to Abu Dhabi's Airport and it departs right in front of the bus we took.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the most beautiful mosque we have ever stepped foot in. I genuinely wish we had more time in Abu Dhabi just to sit there and listen to the call of prayerwhile in the mosque.

About Us
We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save money to travel. After getting married we bought a one way ticket to Greece in July of 2021 and have been traveling around the Globe since. Living abroad definitely brings some unique experiences.
These laidback KZread videos will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends as we explore different countries, try new and strange foods (and of course pizza), and see how many times we can avoid airplane fares. These homevideos will be the only souvenir we end up with at the end (only because nothing else will fit in our bags).
Thanks for watching!

We didn't need a reservation when we went - just to buy a ticket! Al Baik was our favorite chain!

Considering you were wearing a mask, I assume this was last year. As I was there last year too.

AlBaik is the name of our favorite restaurant chain in Abu Dhabi! It has delicious cheap meals. I think it's the largest fast food chain in Saudi Arabia too!
