I used to drive these at Stansted Airport, ridged are the best and articulate models are also easy to drive, which were taken from London bus garages after they taken out of service by TFL and they're better suited for airport use and yes I found them to be the best buses to drive for comfort and practicability, The driving position was like a coach, your lower down compared to driving a Enviro 200 for example and even better then the crap Optare solos I am stuck with now, but the Citaro's have better brakes and smooth acceleration, go ahead still use these buses on the 108 route.

I don't know about these Citaro's but the previous version is great but unreliable. Prone to overheating, jerky gearboxes especially when hot, electrics are a minefield, huge turbo lag and lugging of the engine.

We have loads of Citaros here in the UK - including the latest version, the Citaro C2. And I have a 10.5m Citaro K C2 running on one of my local routes! :) In Italy too we have so many Citaros!

There was once there was a Hybrid Citaro that was in Singapore for 1 year but was only one of all 5,800 public buses in Singapore and was no longer been here already.

Strange to see a LHD citaro C2...., although we have in my city in France only citaro's and they are good busses, the citaro Facelifts and the C2's and GC2's are very good, love them.

CORRECT SPECS: 7.7-litre 6-cylinder inline Euro 6 turbo diesel, Voith DIWA 854.6 6th generation 4-speed auto. I had made a comment on the page but unsure if that has been approved yet. Also, this bus is currently registered as CITARO (Yes, that's its' actual registration plate)

The citato is deffenetly like the most common bus in sweden. I have almost never ride another bus during my life and i have been riding bus in many places in sweden😅 The few times i’ve been riding other buses (exept in london;) i was disapoindet of how noisy and shaky it felt compared to the citaro.

Very attractive bus. How can 5 cm be such an impediment when Europe have tighter roads in a lot of cases? Can't exemptions be granted since 2.55m has been the norm by the major manufacturers we get our buses from, for years now?

They aren't real Citaros though - they may look like one but they are actually bodied by Custom Coaches, not to mention that the interior is completely different and they are on a O405NH chassis - real Citaros are O530 (first and facelifted first generation) and O295 (second generation aka Citaro C2). The only other city in Australia to have real Citaros was Perth (WA) with its hydrogen first generation ones - however they were only briefly in service from around 2004 until 2006.
