    There's some real treasures here. I wish that historic vehicles and machines could be listed, like listed buildings, and given legal protection. For example, there are only 3 remaining older Maidstone and District ANs left, one of which is in the video. No VRs I notice- they appear to have done better than some types for preservation- and one National. I wish these buses and coaches could be stored in a Dutch barn or otherwise undercover. I know it's much easier said than done, but preserved should mean preserved.

    4 жыл бұрын

    @@billybradford5810 Duh, gee. Because, maybe I know a lot of bus drivers and mechanics. Rubbish being sucked into radiators is the number 1 cause of rear engine bus fires. The bus drives over standing rubbish in city streets at low speed, the vortex of the vehicle passing over loose newspaper pages in particular because of the size vs lightness, lifts the paper into the air. From time to time the airborne paper is blown out from under the vehicle by the rear wheels and as it passes the radiator air intake while the fan is on sucking air through, ends up against the hot radiator. Sometimes this is even caused by wind picking up newspaper near the bus while it is parked and blowing it into the radiator intake. And from there the fire spreads easily to the rest of the engine compartment because of all the flammables like plastic piping, lagging, moldings and electrical insulation.

    As you have been told this is NOT ABANDONED, this yard is owned by a local operator and the owners know about you and your little friend trespassing onto their land, going onto buses (some of which were dangerous), switching electrics on and opening bonnets. An owner of a vehicle down there also saw you and for people that "had permission" you two did a runner, if you had permission you wouldn't have legged it when spotted. Clearly trying to cover yourselfs in front of your viewers. Disgraceful.

  • @benolifts

    @benolifts

    4 жыл бұрын

    I usually remove these sorts of comments, but I am keeping this one because it is too funny. And for clarification, I think everyone knows that we didn't have permission. Take a look at the videos on my channel and you will see there is a theme of trespassing.... kzread.info/dash/bejne/gqqHyc6SgKfZops.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z56fsKRrlZvOXbA.html kzread.info/dash/bejne/gXt9yNCvccqrc6w.html But on this occasion in the bus graveyard we were not actually trespassing (not that it would matter if we were) as we had implied right of access. The front gate is wide open and we wondered in and walked around. Legally speaking it is no different to walking into a shopping center. The place was deserted, only once did we see someone. We explored everywhere we wanted then walked out. We didn't run away. Why would we, since we had not done any crimes. We were not spotted while exploring. I am guessing this places has quite a few urbexers who come and look around.

    @@benolifts Well why were you telling others you had permission then? So you think posting videos of trespassing onto private property and being in potentially dangerous situations which will encourage others to do so is okay?! It is trespassing as this land is private property. I'm just letting you know that it is wrong to trespass (something you clearly can't get your head around) and you should not be going around opening bonnets, switching on electrics and climbing on roofs. If one of those rotten buses floor had given way for instance, which could have well happened, you could end up seriously injured. I think you're not right in the head mate.

    @@calebrichards6320 Did you click the video links? I have climbed working wind turbines, been in loads of lifts shafts, and thats only the start. I trespass all the time and have no plans of stopping. I do not consider anything wrong with simply trespassing. Urbexers do it all the time. It does not affect anyone elses lives. We are not damaging or stealing things, we are simply walking around and exploring. The experiences you can have trespassing are amazing. You can't be prosecuted for trespassing. You can only have a civil dispute, but due to how the legal process works, it is not practice for something as small as a nominal (no damages) trespass to get to court. But in this case we didn't trespass. You need to research the meaning of implied right of access.

    @@calebrichards6320 Thinking that trespassing is wrong is a virtual concept. It does not hurt you in anyway. You are choosing to get offended over something that has no decremental effect on yourself. The only reason why this hurts you is because you have allowed yourself to think that it hurts you. I would recommend that you live your life to the happiest you possibly can. So don't be offended over trespassers but instead go and do what makes you happy.
