You did GREAT !!! I don't think you'll be able to put the hinges on the inside - the door wouldn't close !!! ... so ... CONGRATS - you're DONE !!!! LOL

If you don't want to swap the hinges you could just weld the bottom of the pins to the hinge. Looks good!

I just bought a prehung 32" fiberglass outswing for my bus..it actually came with hurricane impact glass...how's the seal when driving on yours? The biggest reason Im replacing the original doors is because of the air leaks

Still good. Keep an eye on the screws over time to be sure they are good and tight. Still way better than the old bus doors. We had big gaps. 😉👍

Yay! Thank you. This is the type door I’ve wanted. Did you add bus molding to the bottom right side of bus body right behind passenger front tire? It looks good and I need to repair mine. Love the videos and you guys. Hope to see ya down the road.

Thanks, we didn’t need to make any changes between the right front tire and the door. That’s how it was. It’s a Starcraft made “Starlite” model.👍✌️

How can I replace or reseal the side liftgate doors?

Hello and thanks for watching.👍 That’s a tough one. We have had some leak issues with ours over the years. I tried to find replacement rubber seals that run up the middle. Couldn’t find any. I used some of the black rubber tape used to seal around new window installations to create a sort of extension on the top of them to close gaps. Just planning on keeping them as is for the foreseeable future. ✌️

Just found your videos. I have a Van now but going the bus route pun intended. HOW tall are you? I'm 6'6". Would a shuttle bus allow me to stand somewhat?

Probably still pretty tight. I am 6'2" and have an inch or so to spare. Step vans are another good option. Check outer friend "Seven Wanders the World" on KZread. he is about your hight . 👍✌️

How tall was the door you used? I'm doing the same thing to my '89 model E-350 Shuttle and I wonder how similar they'd be. I'm looking at either 76" or 80" but won't be able to get out there and measure until the weekend.
