I like the picking names for Christmas presents. My wife's siblings have done that between the 3 families for many years.

My family of 9 to 11 (depends on older kids wanting to go) travels in a class c in the summers. I respect the life, it isn’t as easy as the videos make it look, but you all are handling it great!

I really miss that exchange gift tradition in our house. You got a nice big and loving family there. More blessings to you and your family. I'm excited more about Christmas because people like you know the real essence of Christmas.

i grew up in upstate new york saw plenty of snow like that although its pretty I dont miss it I live in nevada south of reno we get pretty cold temperatures here but not much snow I really dont miss the snow stay warm

You can skirt them with hay in bags; helps tremendously if your okay n one spot for awhile

Merry Christmas Good Family! It's great to see all your smiling faces! Such a beautiful tree! [Especially after you all put your love talents on it!] Oh my it is cold there! Here in CT we've had winter snow, ice, slush the last few days, and now the sun is finally starting to shine again! I wondered how you all were doing if you are not plugged in or running the generator how the pluming would be underneath. Since my bus project is stuck in the drive for the time being [trans electrical probs]; I wasn't sure how I was doing to deal with my plumbing. So I drained everything out, removed my water heater, pump and main filter, and have it at home in the basement. I'm thinking to myself how did they keep that bay warm, where did they put the pump. I think high winds are the worst enemy in the cold, as it steals the heat out of heated compartments. So this give me a chance to re-think how the plumbing works in the cold cold! LOL! So I'm glad it is working out for you guys! Oh I love how your family does Christmas! Especially with the gifts. Thank you all for sharing your journey! I learn so much! Not just mechanical stuff, but how you LOVE your family! Love to you all! Keeping you all upheld in prayer as you continue your travels! God bless!

Happy Holidays to your sweet family!...God Bless you all......Been there...down to -17 plus windchill once for a couple weeks. Any interior moisture on windows turned to ice (even with dual pane glass), windows froze shut (who would want to open them anyway), entry door froze shut, 2 furnaces running near 24/7 , went through 20 gallons propane every 4 days, daily fight to keep water lines unfroze, just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. We like adventures, but 2 weeks of that misery was enough for a lifetime....we're more partial to palm trees ....lol

I've occasionally spotted a 120 vac outlet at the base of a parking lot light pole. Probably only 15 amp but you might luck out with a 20 amp circuit. I've also seen outlets at lighted signs away from a building. That amount of power can still make a big difference in comfort and starting ability. Best regards.

It looks like your Christmas is going to be very special for you guys it is a breath of fresh air to see the build-up to your Christmas, my own will be once again alone just me and my guitar, but I will bring out the Christmas carols and sing my head off with all the cheerful carols. watching your video has given me some good idea's such as buying a real live small tree one that can be planted into the garden after celebrating the lords birthday , wishing you all a very merry Christmas and New Year , I do hope that you will be able to do a video of the event on both Christmas and New Year as I will be sure to watch it and celebrate it with you all, love and joy to you and God Bless.....Robert in the UK
