Bus Burned to a Crisp on Freeway (HOT RECOVERY). Poor guy, just bought this bus the day before and it's already burned to a crisp. Not sure why exactly it burned, but thankfully there were no injuries! We received this call after the local police vendors turned it down, and rushed out there by sending Alex in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator. He was joined by Eddie in our Landoll for the transport.
First step was to park Big Flipper parallel to the bus and set up the rigging for an easy off the side lift. Due to the severity of the fire, Alex decided to use chains instead of straps that can get caught and torn on the jagged pieces. Once everything was rigged, the bus was listed in the air which allowed Eddie to back up right under the bus.
From here, the guys did a quick cleanup to push everything on the side so the sweeper can easily get to it. The rotator portion here was done, while Eddie had to take the bus to a scrap yard where they had a huge forklift to unload it. All in all another quick and easy job complete, keeping CHP and everyone involved happy.

I was picking up on the fact that they guy probably was driving without insurance. Insurance always picks up the bill for tow bills, I couldn't understand why he was so worried about that, and not more worried about the fact that now he needs to buy a new bus again a day later. Then it dawned on me, the guy either has terrible insurance, or he has no insurance. But for his sake, I hope he's got some, cause he's gonna need it.

You have a great channel, and a great company, what you charge is yours and your clients business and nobody else’s, if others can’t understand this, well, that’s their issue, keep up the great work, and congrats on the upcoming new arrival in your family

Just for info……I used a rotator in Florida to lift and load a fighter jet on a landoll trailer and his hourly was $1500.00/hr. Great guy! When found out we had an airplane to load he rearranged jobs so he could do it. Big operation too, 20 some trucks at 5 location with 2 rotators.

Excellent suggestion! We have these super nice bendable rubber style things that twist easy and are very elastic. Wasn't necessary here but they help on things like small diameter car rims

Congrats on becoming a dad for the 2nd time!! And if you ever want to go to another company that does your merch please consider one that also has a factory in other parts of the world. I live in the Netherlands, a small country in Europe and getting things out of the US here is expensive plus I have to pay import duties. That will double the price at least. If it's send from Europe to begin with the delivery charge is way less and no extra taxes. Thnx in advance!

Hey Josh, 1st off, what you charge is absolutely NONE of your viewers business. Never feel the need to disclose this info. 2. You gotta feel bad for the owner to have just bought it. Hope he had good insurance. 3. The driver/owner did all he could to reduce the weight of that lift. 😂😂😂 4. Totally surprised your driver didn't clean up some of that mess before driving upon it. He's not the one paying for tires I guess🤔🤔. 5. Hey, congratulations on the upcoming new baby. Hope all goes well for momma and baby. I remember the birth of my son---46 years ago 😥😥. Hopefully no one drives on the shoulder area. BTW, Caltrans usually responds to these events to inspect pavement for damage and clean up anything the towing company might have missed.
