But still that's an amazing build :) Simple fix for mana problems is finding a friend that cooks MP a lot, Magi add lll and also you can cook it on your own terms :)

Tried out the build and thought it was really bad and inconsistent. Then I learned to time my buffs correctly and bam, suddenly I'm a burst pro. Absolute monster build, takes a bit of skill, which I love.

Thanks for the tips, it helped me a lot mainly in the combos part

Burst skill remind me of Zero Ray High Wizard skill in Iruna Online with high burst damage. With that god speed almost 10K CSPD with other buff is insane for spamming.

Now I can replace my 100% ailment resist finale build. That annoying magic flinch. Tried your build, tested it on a budget(1000cspd), seems a better build for my solo runner. Thank you!

Lol magic warrior skills are absurdly underrated. Glad more are using them for magic builds IF only the buffs and extra mp recharge. Maybe I should utilize my dad mask, still have it am just unwilling since I use gesp 2 and wedding tiara. That said the main con of this build is the over-reliance on food and buff skills. Its a problem with many builds as of late. Its good what the buffs allow but the ease of losing em makes them an afterthought to many. (Cant count how many times I forgot gsw exists on my ktn and halb) And sometimes friends get tired of cooking or forget. One last edit again I feel its a good build Im just seeinf this pattern alot

I just like to recommend the finale for new players who doesn’t have high budget so the finale easy and useful in the most farming spot and the mage build pretty cheap and eveven with 2k mtk can deal good damage better than follow build like halberd which need very high budget to be effective

No, pls don't. Never equip empress 2 if u go burst. We, mages in old days, thought burst dmg sucks simply because we used empress 2 while testing, that make our test result 20% lower than the real dmg. Can you help me? My main is katana (lvl 179) and I'm broke too. I'm struggling with katana x.x and it's hard to farm. They say that mages is still good even if you have low budget equipments and it's good for farming too. Should I reset my main char to change it to this build? If not what do you recommend? Dex is needed to increase the cspd, and magic burst need to have high cspd to be instant cast. Even with 247 dex, we need foods and skills to make it instant. So dex is essential

You can still use a combo of magic skills reduce the cast time, if you don't have full dex.

@@baelugasenpai5420 Just continue and accomplishing the main quests sooner or later you'll get avatar tickets via emblems (don't forget to collect, it is the ribbon-like icon in upper left). You can use those avatar tickets to buy avatar outfits in the orb shop and a tip for you dont waste until you have at least 5. Because the more tickets you use in a single chest the rarer and cooler the outfits you'll get. So yeah if dont know what to do just finish your mq and try to reach level 150 and thereafter the game will become much more intriguing.

@@TheOdore9 Well, I didn't ask myself that question. I'm mixed up between its 8 meter range of engagement with other Magic skills like Finale. I think that way for Burst is because if let's say the target is less than 8 meters, would there be a damage penalty? If no then, the latter would be Burst is considered a Long Range skill, and regardless the distance between the target and the cast. I may be thinking too much on this one XD

@@LABaby-qn6xc well, it is simply a category of attack that will not be affected by long range nor short range damage. I guess it is called placed skill as most of them are magic placed on a fixed location after cast (like storm and wall) Apart from long range and short range dmg, such skill will not be affected by, whack, concentrate and long range mastery. One common mistake of Finale mage is they learned long range mastery even though finale is a placed skill

I could probably getaway on a 1mp MBurst combo... hmmm I might test the low budget elem staff

well you can also get summon Familiar from Wizard skills for more Matk

@@adamdidam5060 thats really depends on ur preference tbh. If u want best dps, then sub md. If u wnt to survive at any time, then shield. U cn also go sub md, shield hybrid if u only focus on finale as u would have plenty of skill point left

burst need high cycle buff, 1hit and all gone, tbh my mage don't have any cspd xtal or gear(just 247 dex) and with high cycle buff + 3 gsw stacks I still can instant cast burst(of c impact is my opener). I see that you really rich, why don't you use elemental staff? Burst work great with element bonus damage
