Most House music records are written in minor. Although you do hear some in a major key 👍

Thanks but what I mean is what actual key? Is there a preferable note for eg F minor or A minor? Or is each song different? Sorry if that’s a stupid question

@krzysztofdudzik1672 it would vary, depends on the style of track. Some producers will alter the key to get the bassline sounding right, or could begin the project with a chord progression and just build around it 🤟
