The takedown races infact were my favorites, playing pool with cars lauching them in the air was so fun, to the point that my (ex) bf had to buy a copy for Playstation because i had taken hostage the XBox 360. XD What a game and OST. Good days.

To this date I still remember the day my dad and I went to blockbuster to pick this game up you wont know how hyped I was really really excited after playing burnout 3 takedown a lot and I remember that the case had like paper of an ad about “BURNOUT REVENGE COMING SOON 2005” I was like 5-6 around that time i’m 19 now. Just so many childhood memories were from this game since my mom wouldnt let me play Halo 2 that much because it had too much violence lmao. and this game was like my bestfriend

My cousin still has his PS2 working and we played Burnout Revenge, Hot pursuit, NFS most wanted everyday in summer vacation

Played this game when I was in my early teen years and now that I have my own car I play this soundtrack. I find myself hitting the pedal when this song comes on.

Came here to remember my childhood kiddos

This game is the reason why I had a life as a child! Thank you, Burnout!

Had all the burnout games from the day they were released, and Revenge was the best of the lot by a long shot, I'd even play an HD remake, I didn't like the sandbox paradise, just didn't work for me :/

I think this version is featured in their Chestnut Tree EP? That came out in 2005, the year of Legends' release, so it's likely they hadn't recorded the version to be used in You Smash It yet

the in-game version is pretty compressed and you can only barely hear the extra note on guitar chords, but once you listen to the album version, you can't unhear it. or maybe the you smash it version is mixed differently from the chestnut tree version

Sadly a remake is probably never gonna come... it’s doable but a licensing nightmare for the soundtrack alone.... and it just wouldn’t be the same experience without it
