I miss when the game had the original crash filters, for those brief moments it was a reminder of our own mortality and that we should never drive like this, the screen would lose color, your car turns into a crumpled beer can and during all this that creepy background ambience to the sounds of metal being crushed really made the visual that much more powerful. Once that sunk in and we learned our lesson of the consequences we would get rewarded by being thrown back into the action. In one of the patches though they removed the faded color filter and ambience because I guess some felt it killed the vibe and made it too real at times (If you've ever been in a car accident it makes sense and I understand why it would bother some people) but I wish they would have kept it in as an optional filter for those who liked it like myself.

i agree, the little skull that would come up in the top corner in burnout 3 when you crashed always used to scare me when i was young, paired with the screams xp, i do feel it made people uncomfortable, i understand why though, but I think they should of kept it up, like its a good message paired with a awesome gameplay feature, it made the crashes feel more impactful, not to detract from paradises crashes though, they are some of my favourite

@@Parmie Like I said they should've made it an optional filter in the remaster, I liked the sounds and downloaded them all for ambience in animations.

1:59 How I love the behavior of traffic in Barnaut! The guy saw a pile of scrap metal lying over him, got scared and lost control of it! And these are far from all cases of realistic traffic behavior! That and in itself I LOVE Barnaut!!♥︎

It kinda annoyed me when you are first for the majority of the race and then one tap on a wall wreaks you and then your 7 seconds behind this happened to me in burnout 3

I'm gonna have a brawl playing this! oh my gosh I'm excited!

If you want to argue specifics this version of the game would be one of the 2009 updates (1.6 or later since it's PC) as the crash physics and overall look of the game is different. I'd argue you're more of a dumbass than I am for making that stupid joke in the first place, not to mention I said myself that the video was released in 2017 so I don't need to "check the date". Plus those facepalm and middle finger emojis are pure cringe, what are you 14 or something? Learn to be nice or don't comment at all.

This was made in 2008, also they made the crash physics like this so that the game doesn't need a 4090 to run
