I think you'll find he wasn't "Arrested" and Adam doesn't really know what he's talking about. The majority of traffic offences are summary only, meaning heard before a magistrates court, as such you would be highly unlikely to be arrested for such an offence but they would possibly issue either a Section 59 warning (or seize the vehicle if you've already had one) or report you for consideration for prosecution. This doesn't always mean you will be prosecuted and quite often people get driver retraining courses which costs typically £100 but means your license does not get endorsed with penalty points. For an offence like this the only real way you would end up being carted off under arrest is if you refused to provide your name and address, as they would be unable to verify who you are in order to complete the offence report.

Think you'll find these are RPU... Roads Policing Units. i.e traffic officers who deal with traffic offences. There are other standard response officers dealing with all the other types of calls you mention.

They're not. S13 is the generation name that covers all models of that era (RPS13, PS13 etc). 180SX is more of a trim (engine spec), and is often used to specifically describe the RPS13 generation of S13. But there are other generations of the 180SX that would make things confusing.

The stupid and irresponsible drivers at these meets are killing the scene. Only a coupe of weeks ago in South Manchester, a car meet ended with a big police shake up. Yes boys (and girls), we know your cars can backfire and you can bounce them off the rev limiter, so what. Tone it down a little and carry on enjoying car culture, simples! It's ruining it for the rest of us :( I'm disappointed that you seem to side with these morons if I'm honest, Adam. You seem to be such a cool car guy, I'd have thought you would see where all this is heading...and it's not to a good place.

@@AdamC3046 I think it was the way you said the Police were going to arrest anyone who did anything slightly 'naughty' and made the teeny gesture with your hands, thus trivialising the matter. But the police stopped the Fabia driver, which no doubt would fail an emissions test, quite possibly the driver hadn't notified the insurers about any mods (many don't), the police are then crowded in quite an imposing manner by the crowd and even a lighter is thrown at them. It's going to get worse and then the scene will be killed. Maybe don't show the hostile crowd, or perhaps condemn their behaviour, you are an influencer and could use your powers for 'good'. I've had fast cars for many, many years (before you were born probably :D ) and modified some along the way, so I am sympathetic to the scene, but as happened not that long ago (11 injured and one left in a critical condition), people were dreadfully hurt at a car scene because of a few morons behaving like they are beyond the law. Backfiring and overly modded exhaust have now brought in microphones to several counties that will fine overly loud cars now. The Police are going to clamp down and it is easier to catch people gathered together acting like nutters, than it is to chase down people driving around the 250,000 miles of UK roads. I'm feel sure you can help to calm the scene to some degree and hopefully ward off the inevitable increase in police presence at these types of car meets. I do enjoy your videos on the whole, but not the ones where the police end up getting involved.

Police presence forcing everyone out to the streets results in far more risk to the general public. Maybe what everyone needs is a dedicated spot at bit more out of the way where police will turn a blind eye... Like they do round here at some industrial sites

@@aciid_0 I can't see the police presence reducing at these sorts of meets unless the drivers 'behave' themselves a little better. It's only a matter of time until the police turn up with noise meters and half the cars at the meet end up with some sort of prohibition. I've always believed in 'don't poke the bears with a pointy stick' sort of an attitude. Maybe dedicated spots out of the way or more formal meets are the answer? But I've watched quite a few car meet type YT vids lately and the police presence at impromptu meets seems to be growing.
