This might be a dumb/off the wall question.....but in the event of an EMP.....since the diesel fires on compression and not an electrical system....will it still run? I know there’s allot more electronics in diesels these days I drive a 2005 Dodge RAM 2500 5.9 Cummins

The new trucks are very dependent on electrical signal so without the ECM signal the truck will not run.
