The most I could manage was 238 takedowns with the Custom Coupe Special on you guessed it...Silver Lake Southbound! That car was such a pain in the ass to control (it always wanted to drift anytime you hit your boost) but for me, my best road rage car. Funny thing is, I tried countless times through the years to beat my record that I set when I was only 10 years old, but could never even get 200 again, with my second best total being 172. Never really liked the feel of the Hot Rod, so I hardly ever used it. But dude-you are total badass for getting 271!

Aaron Hernandez Thanks for comment, dude. I tried so hard to get over 300 but I wasn't figure out the way. Recently, I found that if the takedown camera is switched off, I will have a plenty of time to reach 300. Dude, how you play road rage is kinda like how I play road rage! Ironically, the highest number of takedowns I got, which is more or less 110 on Coastal Dream, was with the Coupe Type 1, which is basically a very light vehicle. Looks like staying behind and stalking the prey really helps XD. I always turn off the takedown cam, and although I mostly get up to 45 TDs, I do get a couple of Doubles and Triples then and there.

Take one Burner, streets filled with traffic, a car filled with BOOST, spark the ignition and fly. - DJ Stryker (Crash FM)

I used to put up over 200 takedowns on my better runs, never in the hot rod, always Custom Coupe Ultimate. I was the only one of my friends who could break 100 takedowns in one run, silver lake southbound is probably the easiest track to accumulate mass takedowns without too much traffic to bother you.

I love the way how you drive.😍 At normal, you drove nicely, not much a maniac, until you spotted your target, then you'll only unleash your power. I absolutely love it.❤

I've managed a fair few 250+ runs on silver lake, but not with the hotrod or the Coupe Ultimate. I used the modified sports for mine because it's 3 times heavier than the other sports cars and if the matchup is good you won't face another modified sports so you the AI can barely move you and you can tear them apart without any real effort on your part.

So there are 271 takedowns in 39*60+35 seconds. 2375 sec/271 equals 1 takedown in every 8,7th second. But because of the slow-motion, it should be more like every 7.5th second or perhaps 8th. I think that is really good.

And to believe he kept wrecking my favorite car in my favorite color. Bit salty, But really good job!

Craziest car in the game. Period. This thing got up to speed so damn quick and drifting with it was unbelievable. I used make my cousin rage while using it when playing split screen.

you can get 300 takedowns+ you have to use a super car and almost always be going at 202 MPH. at that speed the opponents are really easy to take out and you can easly take out more than 10 per min

+hitzujaaa no. but its good to see that you have done it. maybe you should try a different tactic. people always go for the slow tactic but when you have three ai cars near you going fast = you can clear them all way faster and then the next 3 appear faster.

The Random Dude Super Series cars are light weight. You may have a hard time crushing rivals.

Holy fuck dude this is damn near exactly to how I used to do high score runs on this map XD I used the super assassin I think it was, and scored 256. There was this boost shunt I always did when you come out from the dirt road back to the uphill before the tunnel. Basically draw them to your left, boost into the right guard rail which swings your car quickly to wide left. Makes for a real smooth and violent takedown straight into the ravine below. I would stop just to hear the explosions lls

Actually it's easy, Dont let your rivals get behind you. If they do, slow down ur car. Let them pass Use bosst only for TD rival Use the car that easy for you to handle Use car that heavier than ur opponents such as Muscle Type 1, Custom Muscle Off the TD cam

Really wasn't very good imo and i also don't consider it classic like Burnout 3. At the very least its not deserving of a remaster like this one should be
