Good video, I have a very good question that nobody can seem to answer, for years I have been using Nero 7 to burn my data dvds, but I just realized that it is a pretty old program now... I wonder, do newer programs like a newer nero burn the disk BETTER? or for instance will burning them through windows 7 through windows exploror burn them better and make them last longer? Or is there just not a difference? I have some pretty old burns like probably over 5 years old now that still work fine... But I just want to know should I update the program or just keep using Nero 7?

Question can you put games downloaded off the internet on to these discs and can you put game files on flash drives if they have the GBs to store it on the drive and then plug it in a laptop so you can use it there from there?

Is there a way to select a large amount of data, say 50GB and have the system break the data into increments of discs for burning?

I have copied (an pasted) some software Applications onto a usb Flash Drive. I next want to Copy and Paste them, from the Flash Drive, onto a dvd disc. (I choose dvd rather than cd because the capacity is greater.) Can I be confident the Softwares will open, once burned to disc, to preserve them? Copy and pasting a couple of times over should not degrade them - right? Thanks.

I'm using a DVD-R disc and selected the 'use with CD/DVD player' option. Then added my files and burn to disc. But now I want to finalise it so I can't add any additional files to the disc. How do I do that?

If you use a DVD to save files and it is writeable but not re-writeable R not RW, can you keep adding files, but not editing the already saved files, or is this a one shot deal?

I have word 2010 & it doesn't have 'burn' up the top, so how can I burn data to a disc. I've used 'copy' but when I looked at the data copied to the disc, all the documents were 'read only'. How can I prevent this. It usually only happens if I overload 'Word' while I'm working on a document & it makes a back up file (which isn't always 'read only').

+Harshit Agarwal Usually it wouldn't make a difference (if you are, lets say, transferring something like images or text documents on to a CD). But sometimes, if you buy software from a company, it comes in a proprietary file structure and somewhere in that structure, there is a bootloader for the software/OS to tell it to start once you insert the CD. If you copy the files from the CD, you will only transfer the content (but not the bootloader). The only way to make sure everything is fully transferred (mainly the bootloader) is by burning the image.
