As an RN in Michigan, I have known two nurses that have committed suicide over the unrelenting stress, anxiety because, profit is king !! Moreover, nurses and patients wellbeing are of NO CONCERN for owners and corporate !!

Thank you for sharing your perspective and experiences as an RN in Michigan. It's incredibly important to acknowledge the immense stress and challenges nurses face due to factors like understaffing, high workloads, and profit-driven healthcare systems. The emotional toll can be immense, and sadly, as you mention, it can reach a breaking point for some. Hearing about the nurses you lost to suicide is heartbreaking and serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of these systemic issues. We owe it to healthcare workers and patients to strive for a better system that prioritizes well-being over profit.Thank you again for sharing your story. It takes courage to speak out, Stay strong, and let's keep fighting for a better healthcare system.
