Burna Boy Talks About Music, Popularity, Masters, and More With CNN | African Voices

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer and rapper. He is one of the biggest and most successful African artists. He rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing "Like to Party", the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E.
In his conversation with CNN, the Nigerian Afrobeats superstar talked about his music and his mum being his manager. Burna Boy also talked about how he gained his popularity in America, and also talked about his contract and owning his masters.
The singer also talked about his performances around the world...from small concerts and now selling out Arenas. He will be the first-ever African Musician to headline a show at the Madison Square Garden which is a 20 thousand capacity in the United States.

This dude is crazily smart...He keeps a tight leech on his circle of fame and wealth, which is a good thing. His mum and sister, holding critical positions in his arts and craft, is an insanely maad move. Keeping the wealth in the family is a great decision.
