As a black man from Brazil, Burna's music touches my heart and soul, I feel myself connected with my nigerians brothers in the other side of the Ocean. It's more than a song, it's about roots, belonging, pride, Negritude (blackness), Panafricanism. "The message from Burna I believe would be, the every black person should please remember that : you're africans before you become anything else."

For people who are finding it difficult to grasp what Burna is saying in this song please allow me to explain it in the best way I possibly can. ' Common Person' talks about life and the ups and downs that come with it. It talks about love and unity and always being your brother's keeper. Whether we're rich or poor, high or low we all come from the same place and we should always treat each other with respect. I feel like this song is preaching a message that extends deeper than the words on the surface. It reminds us that love is the greatest force in the world and no matter where you've been or where you come from we're always one. That is why I love Burna so much. His songs always carry the greatest relatability. Whatever you're going through in life there's always a Burna song for you. If you're happy, sad or whatever it is there's always a Burna song for you. No other artist touches me as much as Burna does. He goes into my very soul. That is what music does💯💯❤️❤️

Burna Boy is a legend.. His music truly powerful. U can tell theres nothin but passion in this. Huge inspiration... his music is helping me through tough times right now... after christmas i got my heart broken.. 3,5 years of my life i gave my all to this girl and in the end I got nothing to show for it. I made a song about it to express my feelings and help people going through the same thing.. Lonliness hurts and I hope to inspire people to use heartbreak as a motivation for their passion. Dropped the song yesterday, to anyone that takes the time to check me out and join me on the journey to success, I will forever be thankful. Right now it means more than anything💔🙏

My best nija song from côte d'ivoire 🇨🇮
I discussed this song with a friend froma philosophical point of view and it was interesting how Burn boy brings out the paradoxial meaning of being loved irrespective of fundamentals of life .The song also juxtaposes the essence of bring accepted by your family, friends because you belong not because you have become.most of us, we are accepted by our families, friends Because we have BECOME not because we BELONG and its a sad a reality that we need to change. Also from the song we can also be an inspiration to others, lets be an epitome of home to all around us ,and we all have a chance to inspire all people around us . I wish we can live forever....but if You are here 2050 know that l was here 2024 ... And l ove this song ❤

If you wonder why Nigerians always find a way to soldier on with their lives each day despite the hardship and chaos, listen to this song and it'll explain it to you. No matter how bad it is, Nigerians never want to stop being happy and enjoying their lives, cuz our happiness is still our own.

Pure music not promoting drugs, alcohol, sex, shooting or stabbing Music about real life with family and community. Different and special.
Beautiful song
I discussed this song with a friend froma Philosophical point of view and it was interesting how Burna boy brings out the paradoxial meaning of being loved irrespective of fundamentals of life. The song also juxtaposes the essence of being accepted by your family, friends because you belong not because you have become. Most of us, we are accepted by our families, friends because we have BECOME not because we BELONG and its a sad a reality that we need to change. Also, from the song, we can also be an inspiration to others, lets be an epitome of home to all around us, and we all have a chance to inspire all people around us.
White, Canadian, and I think music like this can cure all the bad in this world. ❤️ Thanks for producing such beautiful music for me to calm my mind to.

This song has been living rent-free in my head... It's rare to see music that celebrates the common man.

If this song doesn't give you deep goosebumps and a sense of humanity in the face of all the global struggles, then you don't have a soul. Burna is now a certified Global Giant.

Burna demonstrating humility in this video, Great one 001 for life❤
we are proud to be Africans, we are proud to live in poverty before being rich❤❤
Burna always puts a deep message in his songs…No matter who you are or what you do,always find balance and be your own happiness 💪🏾❤️
Such a great display of humility and of culture and of tradition. It's raw and rare in music of today. The artist in a sense is showing the world that he will always be Africa and Africa will always be him. Outside of the fame, he is a child of the sun, the dirt and water. I love this creative piece. 🇯🇲
One love burna
Some people might never find what they dream of and it’s fine but you’re a legend
Never underestimate our roots. This song really represents who we are. PROUD AFRICANS.
This jam will go down in history as one of the best songs. The Video is authentic too. Zambia approves 🙌🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲🇿🇲
