I love my African roots, but there's no way in the world I would want to live in Africa. Africa is one of the richest continents in the world, but every politician is corrupt, and most people live under the poverty line. I thank God I joined the military, and I have a retirement. Now, I am working in civil service and working on my second pension. Most people in Africa are very poor or very rich. I believe Mos Def moved back to the United States because Africa is not a forgiving continent. Do you see all the Africans who are trying to make it to Europe and America illegally. If you watch and pay attention to the news, you see a lot of people of African descent trying to make it to America all the time. I've been to Africa, and it's not somewhere I would want to live unless I was rich. Burna Boy is one of the entertainers, but don't let Africa go to your head
