I worked at the car wash at 1:26 on the left back in 81-85. Just up the street from there was Christie’s restaurant and the California Bar and Grill. Also the famous Sam’s sandwiches. This video brings back so many memories. I loved living and working in this town. I didn’t even need a car. I met Joe Montana when he pulled up to get gas for his Porche back in 82-83 at the Chevron car wash. Had a beer with him a few years later at La Piñatas. La Piñatas had the birds and the really good salsa and then a fire destroyed it along with the cockatiels. So may memories. We had a apartment in the 100 block on Lorton Ave that I couldn’t afford to rent today. Back in 84 we paid 590 a month. That apartment is probably 3500- 4000 a month now. Thanks for the video!

Great place! grew up in San Mateo county and people would hang out here a lot. Downtown Burlingame has changed a lot, and has gotten so much nicer. And not too far from San Francisco too.

b767daisuki I’ve never seen a Koenigsegg in the Bay Area, perhaps it’s due to our strict emission standards. McLaren’s are common here, there’s a dealership in Palo Alto on El Camino Real. I was thinking about doing car dealership video tours but I don’t think I have the audience for that genre. Thanks for stopping by 👋🏼😊 I hope you’re doing well my friend.
